Thought episode was boring. Unless they start drastically changing up the formula I don't see how the how will last long. I'm alrdy losing interest. Really only feel like i only need to tune into the last 10 minutes of an episode to see any plot development since everything before then is pretty moot

Agreed. My initial assessment that I thought the monster-of-the-week pattern could work for this show appears to have failed. Trying to invent reasons for Soto to be involved in every scene seems forced, and his instant solution on how to get into the bank was awfully convenient and contrived. While I like his character, they seem to have written themselves into a corner trying to find a place for him in every episode. I do tend to enjoy the scenes from Alcatraz in the 1960's to be more interesting than those in the present.

Nice to see Starcraft 2 get some screen time in a prime-time show, even mentioning a common strategy in 1v1s. Other than that though, honestly just looking for a reason to stop watching. I was apprehensive that both this and Person of Interest would get stale with their obvious formulas being part of the plot, yet somehow PoI is taking off and this one is just kinda... sitting there.

My sentiments exactly. The "mythos" portions of the story are interesting, but the fugitive man hunts each week are not holding my interest at all. The scenes with Sylane (the first prisoner) tonight were pretty good, though. Now that I think about it, most of the interrogation scenes have been interesting, even Dr. Coma's scene with tonight's poisoner in the 1960's scene was pretty good. They seem to have a decent story, with some interesting exposition, but when they try to shoehorn in some action or suspense, it just falls short.

Side note: I try to overlook plot holes in TV shows, but one last night really irked me. While on Alcatraz, they noticed that a BART train under the east bay had stopped. In the time it took the bad guy to unscrew the bottle and hook it into the ventilation system, they managed to get from the island to the mainland, go down into the tunnel through an "emergency hatch," find a vehicle, and drive halfway across the bay. Really? Really? The whole show has kind of been doing the whole "traffic in San Francisco is non-existent" but I've at least been somewhat able to ignore it before now. This completely pulled me out of the moment.

I wanna know what they plan on doing after the 63's are all caught/accounted for, assuming it could stay on the air that long? On the plus side, they have an easy wrap-up should the show get cancelled before then by just letting them "find the secret" along with whoever hasn't been found, whenever they want. I'm still good with the show; it's not my favorite, but I liked the mine and poison eps good enough to spend 45min each.

I do like how they can keep making the warden look like he might give a damn about this week's inmate, only to turn it into grand douchebaggery.

I guess Dr. Coma eventually finds out about the experiments/gets forced into it for rinding out and that's why she is also not aged. That would also probably make her the first one to come back.
