I didn't say I was judging you; I said other people were. I specially didn't comment considering I don't know you, but you did answer your own question with your statement.

Religion isn't good for anything. Religion is like a virus that adapts to survive. It will adapt eventually and there will be theological reasoning developed for why the verses in the bible that are now claimed to be against homosexuality are suddenly really meaning something totally different. Christians in the future when this happens will get angry when someone in a discussion mentions that christians used to persecute homosexuals. I personally find any school of thought that asks people to not question but to just accept what they are told to be extremely destructive in nature, and not worthy of respect, or at least not worthy of my respect.
you guys are so tolerant and accepting of the LGBTQ community, thank you for defending us! you guys are great allieshbdvhalksjhahadbnahahaha sorry I was almost able to get through it with a straight face
lol at the herp derp of the last two pages... I think it's terrible that people's civil rights go to a majority vote of the masses.
I was wondering when the religion bashing would appear again. BG did not disappoint. I haven't read the whole thread in a while, didn't we already have a religion bashing circle jerk in here?
Oh, that's where I remember you from, Bane. Hardcore defender of the poor, "oppressed" religious majority.
You don't need to throw petrol bombs through the windows of your local LGBT society to be part of the problem. Do you never sit back and think "maybe it would be nicer to live a life of tolerance and compassion instead of one filled with quiet contempt for people who have never done anything to harm me"?And me being 'homophobic,' I speak my mind w/o the political correctness bs for any topic. I've never done anything against any group or raised my hand to anybody.
It is not having or voicing your opinions that make you ignorant, rather your actual opinion is ignorant and you should expect people to tell you so.
But Mr. Day, its considered bashing if someone views my opinion as ignorant and tells me as such!
Ah yes, the claim that being annoyed by bashing somehow means I think I'm being oppressed. And also hardcore. I remember you, too.
j/k, I don't.
I call it bashing when a group of people use hateful generalizations to support their claims. I also call it stupid, counterproductive, and annoying. Which side happens to have the power to enforce their generalizations is irrelevant; It's still a hateful generalization. Stooping to their level type of thing.
Obviously I'm not being oppressed, because that's where which side has power IS relevant.
Also, isn't bashing?Religion isn't good for anything. Religion is like a virus that adapts to survive.
if you have cast a single vote against gay marriage or have even inspired someone else to do so, whether through your actions or words, then you are not only homophobic but you have had a measurable negative impact on the homosexual community. the idea that holding a negative belief toward a group of people is perfectly acceptable is harmful in and of itself.
TIL: Voting against the rights of certain individuals = never doing anything against any group.
