Was gonna ask if I'm the only person actually enjoying this game?
Its not a true resident evil like I'm a fan of, there is no survival horror to it it all. Its just a point A to point B shooter, that's still actually enjoyable.

I really enjoy the new combat system. It takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it you can eliminate a lot of annoyances. I can dodge most enemy attacks by simply ducking and am utilizing the dodge roll shoot mechanics much better. Gonna try for some Professional no damage runs once I beat the game.
Also, TECH ROLLZ, LEARN EM AND LOVE EM.

Nah bruh. Game sux.
The game starts out quite slow, but after a couple of hours in the game finds its pace and it's quite fun. Several hours into Leon's campaign, and I'm not regretting my purchase in the slightest. Controls do take some adjusting to, though... speaking of which, I was rather surprised there was no instruction booklet that came with the game
Not a fan of cycling through all my guns in the middle of a boss fight, I find that I miss the direction pad weapon assignment RE5 had
Where you at now Kyo?
I quite enjoy the game tbh, don't regret purchasing it.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...aks-psn-copiesResident Evil 6's day-one PlayStation 3 patch has stopped downloaded copies of game from loading, which renders the game unplayable.
Compatibility issues between the patch and legitimately-downloaded PSN copies can be circumvented by a workaround, Capcom told IGN, while the developer readies a fresh patch.
"The temporary fix to ensure people can enjoy Resident Evil 6 today as intended is to ask those people to uninstall the game (only if they originally saw an error message) and reinstall the game," a Capcom spokesperson said. "This time they won't be prompted to download the patch and the game will load."
But anyone using this workaround will be left unable to play online with others.
"Please note, however, these people won't be able to play against disc owners on a temporary basis," Capcom added. "We are working with SCEE (Sony) to fix this issue and a patch is imminent to fix the issue."
The issue also blocks RE.net, the game's online stat-tracking and reward service.
Disc-based PS3 copies of the game remain unaffected - the problem only hits fans who pre-paid and downloaded a digital copy.
I guess a work-a-round has been found, but you have to delete your game and re-download it.
http://www.computerandvideogames.com...ch-fixed-sony/Sony and Capcom have fixed a patch that was stopping those who purchased Resident Evil 6 on the PlayStation Network from loading the game or accessing the RE.net online service.
"If you've had a problem downloading Resident Evil 6, please delete and re-download," the platform holder said on the PlayStation EU Twitter account. "There was an issue with the patch that is now fixed."
When it was found that the corrupt day one patch wouldn't enable some players with a digital copy to boot up the game, a temporarily workaround involving uninstalling and reinstalling the game was suggested.
Users who did so would then not have to download the patch and the game would be playable, although it created another issue whereby those with the digital version wouldn't be able to play against those with the disc-based one. Presumably the "fixed" patch has solved this too.
Resident Evil 6 launched worldwide yesterday. "Can't be faulted for content, and better with a friend, but feels like diminishing returns," we said in our 8.0 Resident Evil 6 review.

It's so-so so far, not bad, but my nostalgia still wishes to see a return to the series' roots; or at least a remake of Resident Evil 2.![]()
In response to the directors saying its hard to balance horror and action: Go play Dead Space
I'm enjoying Leon's campaign enough to keep playing. Even on normal I feel like the game is a bit tough, but that's because I feel the need to fight everything, and I get careless and zombies will sneak up behind me ~_~

Resident Evil 6 Ships 4.5 Million Copies Worldwide
Capcom have shipped 4.5 million copies of Resident Evil 6 worldwide, the company announced this evening. That figure marks the highest initial shipment ever for a Capcom game.
For comparison, when Capcom released Resident Evil 5 in March 2009, they shipped “more than 4 million copies” at launch, worldwide. Then, in June 2009, they announced that they had shipped 5 million copies of Resident Evil 5. To date, the game has sold over 5.8 million copies on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Capcom have high expectations of Resident Evil 6, too. The company hopes to sell 7 million copies of the survival-horror game by March 31st, 2013.
What skills are people keeping equipped most of the time? I've gone with the firearms/piercing/increase drop rate combo quite helpful
Has anybody finished a campaign and tried Agent Hunt mode yet?
I'm not far but I plan to level up critical hits because pistols usually tend to give the best headshots which = less bullets used for minor enemies.
