The first wave of add-on content for Resident Evil 6 is coming as a timed console exclusive for Xbox 360 on December 18th. This content consists of three new multiplayer modes--Predator, Survivors and Onslaught--each of which will be priced at 320 Microsoft Points, or as a value bundle for 720 MSP.

Predator - Available for two to six players, in Predator one player takes on the role of the Ustanak, the fearsome B.O.W. that[b] stalks Jake Muller throughout his campaign, and tries to eliminate the human players. The humans’ task: stop the deadly B.O.W. in its tracks, or at least survive until the end of the session.

Onslaught - Onslaught sees two players go head-to-head in an attempt to clear waves of oncoming enemies. Chaining combos provides the key to success in Onslaught as this will send enemies over to the opponent’s screen, the more that are sent over, the quicker the victory will be.

Survivors - Survivors takes the classic solo and team-based versus mode and adds a twist. Get killed and respawn as an enemy character with the ability to attack the human characters. Take down one human character to resurrect in human form. Last man or team standing wins. Survivors can be played by two to six players.

I love to multiplayer in RE 5, but the community just isn't there. When I finally get this game from the bargain bin I won't be spending the money on that.

Hello Resident Evil Fans, We’re pleased to confirm that the PC version of Resident Evil 6 will contain a new and exclusive mode, The Mercenaries: No Mercy takes fan favorite The Mercenaries and ramps up the gameplay even further. More enemies on screen than ever before will provide a greater challenge, but also the opportunity for players to use their skills to rack up even higher combo scores!

Resident Evil 6 PC will be available as a digital download in North America from Friday March 22, 2013, with European PC gamers able to purchase both the digital version and a disc based version from the same date.

Both digital and physical versions will include the following features, which were added to the console versions in post-launch title updates: access to Ada Wong’s campaign from the outset along with the option to play this campaign with a co-op partner, and the ability to fine tune the in-game camera. As with the console releases, players of the PC version will also be able to take advantage of ResidentEvil.net.

Also coming in February, PC owners will be able to check out how the game will run on their machine thanks to a free benchmark test. The digital version of Resident Evil 6 PC will be available in North America for $39.99 and in Europe for €29.99/£19.99.
Console players of Resident Evil 6 will be able to further expand their gameplay experience with the release of a fourth additional mode, Siege. An online multiplayer mode for two to six players. Think of it as the ultimate 'Agent Hunt' mode.

Siege sees a lone AI-controlled rookie BSAA agent in trouble and in need of help. Players will split into two teams with one assuming control of enemy creatures who are trying to take down the rookie, while the other team selects playable characters from the main game and must keep him alive.

Each game consists of two rounds with teams switching between the human and enemy roles. The human team wins a round if the BSAA agent survives, while the enemies win if they can defeat him. Siege Mode will be available in March for Xbox 360 and PS3, priced at 320MSP/$3.99/€3.99/£3.19.

    PS3 Modes

    Good news for PS3 owners

It has also been confirmed that Survivors, Predator and Onslaught game add on modes will be available for PlayStation 3 owners this February, with each individually priced at $3.99/€3.99/£3.19.

    Additional notes for PC gamers

All four post launch game add on modes – Survivors, Predator, Onslaught and Siege – will be available for PC owners to download and purchase shortly after March 22, with any future title updates for the console version also being made available free of charge for PC owners.

They just posted this on the Resident Evil facebook page.

"It's time for PS3 Resident Evil 6 players to take the fight online as Predator, Onslaught and Survivors multiplayer DLC for will be available from Tomorrow in North America and this Wednesday in Europe!"

All these modes have been out for around 2 months already on 360.

This is the problem I have with most japanese games: they get stuck on these archaic game systems and insist on rehashing and reusing broken gameplay elements even if they're dated; I'm talking about multiplayer ofcourse. Seriously? What the fuck are these modes? Capcom. Look. You have humans and zombies. There's only one thing you need to do with this: Horde/Wave mode. That's all. I enjoy mercenaries but there's a limit to that and eventually it's about hoping the RNG spawns enemies in the right locations; but the other modes are complete crap and they're CHARGING for it? Seriously, this is why japanese game companies are suffering in this market. Most of them just have no fucking clue and can only remake games over and over again with prettier graphics. RE6 was an okay game, the schizophrenic gameplay and story aside, but these multiplayer modes are just.... who comes up with these? Who thinks they're fun?

I don't know why people call it that.
Honestly, the game was pretty good from the bit I played. I only went through the Jake/Sherry missions and the Ada missions but the game was good and fun.
Melee combat was a lil awkward at first but I got used to it and my bro-in-law and I were meleeing the shit out of J'avos left and right.
    Fun ass game.

a friend let me borrow it. I stopped myself during the second leon mission. just didn't like much about it.
a month or two ago, I might have still bought other for $20, but dead space just came out, revengeance tomorrow, followed by 4 or 5 other games after that. so my money will just go towards other games.

I think I posted exactly what I didn't like about the game some time earlier in this thread, but I'm at work and don't feel lime digging through the pages on my phone.

Does the PC version have extras, or is it just a PC port? Either way, I only finished Sherry and Jake's campaign, so I wanted to finish the rest off. It's definitely not much RE as I can see, but it's still fun to play and like DMC would've been fine without the RE tag on it.

Capcom just can't seem to get it right! They release two good games with the complete wrong names for them.

Its just as RE as 4 and 5 are.
Honestly, the game just feels like an extension of those games.

Toss in a lil' of 3's Nemesis for Jake and Sherry too.

My biggest complaints is that RE6 tried to do too much and Leon's campaign became a chore after they went to China sans the 4 way boss fight. I'm one of the few that didn't really make a huge deal out of RE's direction change so I don't really care that it's not like the old RE's. I really wish they did more with the 4 way scenarios because having 4 players cooperate together was some epic shit along the lines of the 4 player co-op arcade days. Maybe they should look into that for another console release or take that idea for another game. Cooperative action games are seriously lacking in this day in age and I kinda wish companies would look into it more.

I disagree. All of the intense moments from RE6 stemmed from the deliberate shortage of ammo and healing items, not from actual game difficulty. Add on top of that 50% of the enemies morph into a more powerful creature once you kill it. Now add shitty dialogue, really shaky cameras to the mix and it's just blech.
