The elemental weakness wheel for XIV is (if it hasnt changed since I was playing months ago):
Fire->Ice->Wind
Earth->Lightning->Water

Okay, take a moment, let that sink in. Determine whether you think that's retarded or not I dont really care. Here's the important part: Water.

Earth is weak to water. If nothing has changed at least. So here's my question. Where the fuck is the water spell?

Okay so between these two classes we have Thunder, Blizzard, Fire, Stone, Aero. No Water.

What the fuck man. Did they really remove water when they "fixed" the classes? Where the fuck is water, how do I fight earth type mobs?

They're remaking the whole system, I wouldn't worry about it much. I'm sure it's going to be even more confusing when they're done with it.

There's a reason why this is so especially annoying by the way, thunder, stone, and aero are the cheapest spells. Fire and blizzard cost a lot more to cast. Thunder, stone and aero all cost 102 while fire costs 143 and blizzard 123 (At my current level, mana cost rises as you get higher level [but your MP raises enough to cover the extra mana cost per spell + a lot more]). The recasts are longer too for fire and blizzard. Thunder stone and aero all are at 6 seconds recast while fire is at 8 and blizzard is at 10.

Those kind of sound like small differences but they're kind of huge.

Basically all I can do right now is cast aero, wait a while, then cast aero again.

Well actually what I do is cast aero then blizzard then aero then fire because of cooldowns I have to switch back and forth between the two but still it's godawful annoying

Fire/Blizzard cost more/have longer recasts because they do more than just damage. Blizzard is the only way to inflict Weight (I think?) and Blizzara is AoE + Bind, Fire is the only AoE line of spells (Stonera/Aerora are AoE too, but they lose that when you combo in exchange for damage, Fire-line doesn't)

I'm too busy cooking to see if everything I said was right but no water is gay as hell. Don't grind on earth mobs

If you're in the Ul'dahn grand company all the mobs for the GC lv 30 leves are like fucking earth or wind based so if you're leveling CNJ you're fucked as fuck. PUKS COBLYNS MITES DJIGGAS actually djiggas are like weak to everything
