but I saw there was a new book, also about Kahlan and Richard, but in a new series and now before I read it I kinda want to go back and finish that godawful Sword of Truth series
I started reading the series long before there was a TV series and at first I didn't mind the variations on "Kahlan is literally in an impossible situation, with no way out but then Richard Deus ex Machina's it and they are reunited"
but then he wrote Pillars of Creation and for some reason he decided to dilute some Ayn Rand which was already diluted from Nietzsche and the book sounded heavy handed and preachy and so goddamn pompous and not at all inspiring like Ayn Rand was at least able to do in the Fountainhead but notsomuch in the series of lengthy droning lectures tied together by weak plot in Atlas Shrugged (cool premise, poor plot)
Who is John Galt? idk but he makes a damn good sandwich
So by the time the latest literally impossible situation rolled around, where Kahlan was missing and now THE ENTIRE WORLD DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHO SHE IS!!!!! FACKKKKK.. I pretty much had it and put the series down
Also it was not a complete series at that time.
So noooooow, it's done and I am gonna reach my hand throw glass shards to get the key like in Saw as I read to find out how it all ends in this particular 12 book series
I really really hate you Terry Goodkind
love Howie
