winter's heart was really really dull, so was book 8, maybe they're the same book

sadly the series is worth finishing, as is my frustration with the Sword of truth series

yeah I hope you don't like Matt or Perrin because for one book or another, one of them is gone for almost the entire book

seriously though there's some worthwhile stuff later on but I wish he would focus more on better stuff

like more--oh wait you haven't met that character yet

The new book isn't even worth reading because it's the start of a new series (Goodkind wants more money I guess).

Zealot - if you can stomach CoT, the 3 books after are tons better. The Sanderson ones are good because the plot is coming to an end so stuff actually has to happen, instead of the plodding around of 8-9-10.

Also Mat is fucking awesome.

Richard spends so much goddamned time enslaved it's ridiculous. His penchant for torture crossed over into revealing a little bit about his sexual preferences imo, and Richard NEVER EVER has his fucking sword. Not fucking ever.

Also chainfire was the dumbest fucking book ever. Got a lot of sleep reading that series.

You may be right by virtue of the fact that I can barely remember anything except lizards. Lizards with jewels for skin maybe? God damn, so much of it was so bad.

Freaking hated that TG series. It was like a bad knockoff of WoT. BTW the newer books of WoT (the ones Sanderson wrote) are actually shittons better than the ones RJ wrote. He's such a better writer it's not funny. I actually feel like the story is going to work out now. There are some pretty awesome twists that come out too in the last two books.

some of the stuff in Mat's line of story with the place he went to and the things that happened and the people that were there and the people that went with him is so good it's worthy of it's own book
