Fair enough, then. That's reasonable.

No one was really flying off the handles. Most people said they wanted info about the game and not info about what Yoshi does in his spare time. After that, many people attacked them for being worthless, inhuman pieces of shit because they did not appreciate the splendor of Yoshi lighting candles and guy with a tie around his head.
I'd say people are getting more than a little impatient when, during the first month of subscription collection, we've seen nothing in the way of new content. When they decided to start charging they raised the stakes and it's not obtuse of the player base to expect more results because of that.
The month is almost up, and I bet you just before people start deciding not to resub for Feb we'll see an update notice with a tentative date for 1.21. Expect the tactic of "mid Feb" which really means late Feb, which really means March if you want enough time to actually experience the content.
From a business perspective that's a sound tactic to keep people paying, to an already shaky and dissatisfied player base it's transparent and certainly not appreciated.
I don't care if they release a human interest piece about their New Years or whatever, but when that's what we're getting at a time when we're starved for content or at least information regarding such it doesn't sit well.
I don't even mind so much that we haven't actually gotten content. It's the fact that the big things coming in 1.21 (jobs and the two new dungeons) they refuse to talk about and we're supposedly ~3 weeks away from getting the patch if it stays on schedule. It seriously feels like they were more open and delivering news/features/content plans on a regular basis when we weren't paying.
We've had the patch schedule for months and known that they are a bit behind... we've been playing the game and we see how things have been coming along.
Did anyone recently get anything other than what they expected content wise? I'm just wondering.
What server are you, Lucavi?
Wutai, baby.
How am I supposed to stay mad at these people if they keep forcing me to remember they're people
