Playing pick-up baseball games with friendos is indeed one of the best ways to spend an afternoon. I admit watching is an acquired taste but I really do enjoy it; plus, it's given excuses to plan trips around the country (my friends & I have been talking about taking a week to go to San Francisco and see a Giants-Phillies game while we're there). Hockey is something I try to watch but, for whatever reason, can't unless I'm there live or it's the playoffs in which case it's the best thing I've ever seen. Basketball is meh.

football or gtfo. Basketball, every once in a while. wnba = mooncrickets anonymous. nothnx Soccer = forever long borefest, although being in Spain when they won in 2010 was pretty fucking epic. Party central. Baseball, occasionally. I tend to get into it more after the all-star break. cricket? no. Rugby, I played in high school, and loved it... but only during football off season.
