I know a couple of guys who dated chicks they met online for years. Started off just online/long distance and in both cases they ended up moving in together (neither of them are still with em now though, but in both cases it lasted over 2 years). Also knew one guy who was online dating a girl who was actually a guy for like a year. I know Ksandra met her hubby in FFXI and I have been dating (minus the date part... lol) this chick I met online for 4 months now, going pretty well and I can see it lasting unless something crazy happens, but we haven't met-met yet so who knows.
