If you have a basket couldn't you just leave it on the heat when you are done after grilling to get rid of the stank via burning it off?

I mean, it's whether I want to go down, light the grill, heat it up, grill the fish, let everything burn off or I just cook it in a pan and immediately clean everything. I could probably just put it on foil as well but idk.

That's fair. I basically sous vide most things these days and totally ignore grilling just because sous vide is so much easier.

next time I'll just skip the mayo entirely and use olive oil. won't be as creamy but meh, it'll still be delicious

Use sour cream. Just use a low fat one so you don't die of thick blood.

I'm not a fan of mayo, so I usually try to do half and half or a little more sour cream than mayo.

Made my first meal in the Instant Pot tonight. Didn't feel like throwing cornstarch on the tofu, but it was pretty good nonetheless.



Had to special order the wine at the liqour store since carrying German Pinot Gris isn't really a thing. Ordered it and then noticed it was #15 on Wine Spectator's list of the 100 best value buys, and it deserves to be there. Easily a favorite Pinot of mine. Elegant and balanced with healthy traces of minerality as ripe pears and citrus grip your palate for a satisfyingly soft dry, but zesty finish; joy to drink. Oregon could only dream of achieving such a standard of quality in a base wine. Id toss it a 92 on my made up 1-100 scale. We can't all give an extra 5 points like Decanter.
