but to be real, it's not about advocating on behalf of them, it's about the insanity that we subsidize oil, corn, tobacco, and bail out banks and auto industries with BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF OUR TAX DOLLARS, but poor people doing drugs and collecting checks for $300 a month are whats hurting the economy.

I do not disagree. I would love for oil subsidy to be reduced / eradicated, even though they will prob just price jack my dick off. not mad at drug testing welfare recipients either though. doesnt have to be one or the other.

Fine. Then test for nicotine and alcohol too. This is a simple concept. It isn't about the fact that it's illegal, right? its about misuse of funds. In that case, test for all of it. Nicotine, Alcohol, McDonalds, all of it.

Yeah but it is, that's where the focus is and that's where lobbyists have the GOP aim their talking points. It's destructive policy on the basis of its source.

I'm saying this is petty, Tyven. Virginia wastes ridiculous amounts of money lining the pockets of rich business owners all day long every day. But you're beefing with a guy who wants to smoke a joint a week? Word? Ok, then you have to ALSO beef with everyone who smokes a pack of cigs a day, or has a beer a day, or splurges on junk food. You do realize coke only takes 2-3 days to get it out of their system right? Weed takes over a month. So coke users could get by this easily. This isn't the answer. It's petty.

Can one be prosecuted for popping positive if they don't have any in possession?

Again, just shocking that warrants and probable cause extend to our homes and cars but not our bodies. Sad.
