Now of course there are some guys who just love women of a different skin color but, whenever race and dating comes up deeply rooted racism has to be addressed. The whole ghetto mentality of black women as to why you can`t date them is just your self hate. By that logic you shouldn`t date white women because of the white trash image. Or the upper middle class subtle racist image. Once you actually learn to fucking love yourself, and become comfortable with how you were born and look you`d get over that bullshit excuse.

I wouldn't date white trash. It's just not 95% of the white girls I encounter are white trash.

I wouldn't even consider dating a ghetto mentality ANYONE. It just happens to be that most of the ghetto mentality people happen to be black and at the same time more blacks than not partake in that mentality.

I wouldn't date a ghetto asian girl, a ghetto white girl, a ghetto hispanic, and not a ghetto black either.

When 95% of the blacks I see are ghetto, it weeds out the majority of candidates

I agree with Cream Soda. Being ghetto or white trash is not attractive, it's just.. eww. I feel like I lose brain cells just being in their vicinity.

That being said, I'm married to an awesome bi-racial woman, who is absolutely amazing. Half Norwegian and half black, along with a few other things mixed in. I'm Hispanic, but with 1/3rd Cherokee Indian in me as well. /shrugs. I've dated and banged pretty much everything - black, white (Serbian), asian (Cambodian), hispanic (I should say Mexican, as she was actually from Mexico, and various mixed girls. All of them were cool and fun, and taught me what I did want and more importantly, what I DIDN'T want in my wife.

I think this is hilarious. There is this whole "black pride" thing that some people have and they feel that blacks should stick together including when it comes to dating. There was a huge discussion about this recently as to why black men date white women. In fact, Erik Gordon did a documentary on this and posed the question to various black men. I know a lot of black women that get pissed off at other races for "stealing" black men from them but a lot of times most black men(including myself) date outside their race because previous black women cause too much drama, treat them wrong, or remind them too much of their mother. Of course there are those who are just attracted to specific races, but that's another thing.

My girlfriend is half white half mexican and when we are out in public, a lot of black women give her dirty looks and we both just laugh about it cause theymad. It's pretty sad that we can't get passed the race thing...

I've dated two white women, one hmmm... I suppose I'd have to call her latina, but if you want to talk about ethnic groups I guess that'd be mestiza (mixed Hispanic and native Chilean), and two Asians, one of the Eastern (Chinese) persuasion and my current girlfriend of the Southern persuasion (West Bengali, grew up in the UK).

Never dated a black chick. Not prejudiced, I've just never met one that wanted to make friends with my penis.

Things they all had in common were dark hair, ample breasts and a love of bad movies. Race doesn't really factor into it, I'm just a sucker for titties and popcorn. Education is a useful thing to have; pillow talk that starts going into discussions of privilege and colonial bias is always fun. As far as a "type," I think I prefer women with a more olive complexion. At least, the two with which I had the longest relationships and the hottest sex were that sort of colour.

Dating womens from different cultures has made me realise how hilariously similar global cultures are. My current girlfriend's parent is relatively liberal by Bengali standards, but is rather keen for her eldest daughter to a) marry some nice Bengali boy, and b) remain chaste until she does so. They moved to this country just before she was born, and while they've become more - I dunno - Anglicised, westernised, whatever, they're still clinging to a patriarchal village culture. They're not so dissimilar to my Irish Catholic grandmother's wishes for my mother. The women in my life have all been part of mainstream British culture; the only cultural insights have been imposed by their relatives. I'm not sure if I'm okay with the relentless steamroller of western culture, but without it I suppose I'd not be sleeping with an Asian woman.

Had a group that formed an Asian gang back when i was in grade school. Basically tried to be black, etc. Tattoos, gang signs, hood music, always drinkin and smokin, etc. The girls that were in that group.

Mainly an issue w/ third generation+ american Asians. First generation (just coming here from Asia) or their children (second generation) more often than not do not have much trouble in this area.

Third generation+ though are too americanized
