Considering you didn't seem to understand what a control set is, maybe you can point these confounding variables out for the class?

Note that they do have an "Expected response" column which already takes many of the things you're pointing out (worldview, education, etc) into account. The problem isn't that one race has a higher expected compatibility with another, but that the actual response ratio is different from the expected compatibility rate to a statistically significant degree when race is isolated as a factor.

Essentially, you're ignoring the matching process with which those results are compared in the first place. Herp.

And lets be fair; the same look does not work for each race; fat white woman = not hot(even a little extra weight can make you look unappealing) Hispanics can get away with a little extra fat. People being happy with being fat is typically, but not always, a coping mechanism, largely in part due to the stigma associated with fat people. This wasn't always the case, and isn't always the case, especially in countries where being fat is still associated with being wealthy, and therefore, successful.

Other people simply enjoy being however they are, and still others are just lazy. There's lot of reasons for everything out there.

Iv never seen man say its ok to be fat. I use to be fat, and id still put myself in that area(tho 14%bf is getting there) but again that is opinion.

Key word *some* yes some people love big woman. But Most people do not find it to be something they would want to go out.
