My sister (white/indian 50/50) is dating a black guy and was afraid to tell my parents about it for ages for really stupid reasons. That said, my sister can also be a gigantic retard sometimes because neither of my parents gave a shit that he was black and he's a genuinely nice guy. She just liked to pretend that we were a typical, white, middle class, suburban family so that she could "fit in" better in high school - and pretty much all the other typical, white, middle class, suburban families were closet racists so dating blacks was a no-no.

Not to be rude, but I'm confused. Was your sister like assuming your parents are down with brown/white love but not black/white love? Or are you two adopted, or from a previous marriage or something?

It's just more common to be generally attracted to women of certain ethnic backgrounds because they share physical traits that we find attractive. That doesn't mean that attractive women of different races need to gtfo.

Dictionaries are great if you don't know what a word means. However they often are not very good at accurately defining exactly what a word really means.

Dictionaries evolve slower than languages, and they intentionally give very basic definitions so they can easily convey the basic meaning of a word. There is a lot of information about a word that you will not find in a dictionary. For example, shop and store. A dictionary will say these are the same thing, but no one uses them interchangeably. That is because, despite having the same basic definition, they really are used quite differently. There is more to a word than just the dictionary definition.

There is no biological 'race' for humans, it's not a question of being PC. There are no subspecies of humans in the way that we would categorize a subspecies for another animal/lizard/thing.
