I didn't mean to blow it out of proportion, but I do think is a step in the right direction, sure the car is overboard on the green side (petrified leaves and such) but the technology behind it is interesting, plus the roof solar panels. I think its a great idea.
In the last three series, there's been one girl as a guest (Amber Heard). I'm guessing that not many female in general are interested to come on a cartalk show to be interviewed. Cameron Diaz (S15), and Fiona Bruce (S11) both seemed to be interested in cars as a hobby more than you'd expect the average actress to be. Some of the others, like Peppa or most of the other people on the episode they announce the new reasonably priced car, were barely guests and were presented more as jokes it seems.
I think people are just looking for a trend to hate on, not realizing it's nothing new. A majority of their guests have been men doing promotion.
That Fisker is like all electric cars: for tree-shaggers with more money than sense.
Personally, if I had 85k pounds to blow on a car, I'd get:

In a jiffy, fuck that Fisker crap.
Like I said, I don't hate on it. And I don't think it's a major "trend", either, but there's probably been some conscious decision to appeal to a broader audience.
You're right, male guests vastly outnumber female guests, but there's a difference between Brian Johnson/Alice Cooper/Ronnie Wood/2 jags Prescott and vapid fashion-obsessed "sexiest male of 20XX", don't you think?
(btw, Fiona Bruce is no actress, to my knowledge. She's a newsreader/presenter)
Series/Season end Q.Q Slash at the end was niiiiiceeee, this season was less flamboyant than previous, but still good a shame they got lots of bad weather, would've loved to see the M5 with the Stig and a proper Raikkonnen lap.
Definitely better than last weeks episode which wasn't as great as the one before that (all it really had was that Saab segment). Must tryout rallycross in the future.
