do quests for fragments, farm monsters you want to breed or fill out the bestiary, do all the paradox endings.
each paradox ending with a battle nets you 10k CP.

CP isn't something you really need to grind for cos if you're doing things in a certain order of necessity for high levels, they'll come in naturally. also if you cap out you're effectively wasting all the CP you get from fragments thereafter - and thats a lot of easy CP to waste.

edit: Tyrath, just level as per normal, the crystarium will automatically get to it later.

I don't think you have a choice which way you branch off while leveling-up monsters. It will get over to each branch eventually as you feed them shit since you have to purchase each sphere on their crystarium thingie before they graduate to the next stage.

If you feel like leveling fast, turbo button is your answer. Academia 400AF has a lot of spots where you can stand in a corner basically, put X on turbo (fkya MadCatz fight stick), and walk away. The mobs give 250-500 CP per kill, and once you're strong enough to kill them just by pressing X, you can max out pretty easily. I only thought of doing this once I was near maxed tho

I don't think it's too bad in this game, as for main gameplay, there isn't that much beyond hitting "X" for all the normal enemies, and everything is pretty damn easy, and for post game stuff, you're gonna be 99 on all jobs anyways... /shrug. Free gil is nice too

I did Bucaboo in Grave Ridge (sunny weather) for a while to get orbs in low levelish. Basically around when you get there.
After that I changed the weather to rainy and moved west to the marches, stayed around the middle and killed Miniochus, Swampmonks, and Catepillars.

Any ideas on a decent Infusion path for her? I dunno if I will use her for a while, I am really not impressed with Army of One, other than it looking awesome.

100%ing maps is like hardest thing ever for me, I just can't do it QQ Gotta love having 98% in maps and not knowing where to get that last 2% when you see no more dark spots on the map...

Also, anyone know where else you can find Silver Chocobos? I got the free one in Academia 4xx by throwing the moogle, but I have it setup for chocobo racing and want another as my main SEN.

A lot of the time when you can't 100% the zone it usually means you will do it in a different timezone.

Silver Chocobo is 1 time thing only, like all other hidden monsters.

Ah, ok, guess I'll still just stick with it then.

And most of the maps aren't so bad, I know about the going to different timezone for them, however this game doesn't want me to 100% Augusta Tower and Academia no matter what. I'm not too worried about Academia, but the tower is annoying.

Augusta Tower is an extra floor - 13th I think, you get the key for it in one time zone, then need to go to another to get there.

My problem which slows me to do the plat is the fking monster

I got the flower cactuar this morning and fought it for 30minutes 15minutes of me spamming sab/syn on it to try to get ??? debuffs and 15 min of it letting hit me for possible ???

After that i killed it cuz i was bored and 1h later i couldnt repop it -,-

You don't need 100% info for monster to get platinum, only fighting so they appear in the Bestiary matters ^^;

As for Academia, once you get 4XX you should be able to 100% it by exploring, I can't really think of any part that is difficult to find, but make sure you are going inside the shops.

@Ratatapa There is a beastiary ingame, as for a list of all the monsters, try the IGN guide.

Good idea there, I would've gone through it a 3rd time, definitely going to rewind and only do it a 2nd time.
