Ok this piss me off to no end. My last 2 trophies before i go get the final boss again are strategist and the preemtive one.

1) Strategist am i limited to 1 Padagrim shift per fight? i doubt it

2) The 100 straight preemptive one if my mistake i run out of range the counter resets to 0 right^

3) Speeding the game with the Fragment skill won't create problem for my 2 trophies try right& thx

Alright, don't really know where to ask this so sorry if it is in the wrong place.

My BF preordered FFXIII-2 from Amazon, and I guess he has no idea where the DLC item codes he was supposed to get are. Any idea on where he is supposed to look (email, receipt, other?). I preordered from Gamestop so I didn't know what to tell him.

It would have been sent to your boyfriend's email that he uses to log in to Amazon. I got mine maybe a week before release. It was an email straight from Amazon for "bonus material" or something along those lines. It contained the code and instructions on how to register it on PSN/XBL.

(I know mine was easy to miss because I used an old college email account to get free Prime membership.)

1. Pretty sure you're not, otherwise I wouldn't have got this til way later, I got this in like episode 4 or 5.

2. Running out of range or letting mob hit you will reset your preempt counter. The best method for preempt counter, is to save after every 10 battles, so if you make a mistake you can reload and start from where you saved before you fucked up without the counter resetting as well. I did this today.

3. Not sure.

Random queations..
If Vercingetorix and Long Gui were considered the superbosses of XIII, which are the ones for XIII-2?
Raspatil and Yomi?
Looking back at both fights I think Yomi is actually tougher but both were incredibly manageable..

Also, why is everyone in Academia 4XX so horny?

Edit: I found Yomi harder actually. Raspatil is only messy when his adds come up, but you always have time to stagger him and he doesnt regen either.

Yomi I guess is the "hardest" fight, but since you fight him exactly the same way as you did in 13 (stack poison, or in 13-2's case, poison 2) and don't die, it wasn't really anything new.

I only wiped one time when I played, and that was to proto-behemoth. Clearly the hardest monster.

Got my ass handed to me by a Tonberry earlier today. I know they are one of the monsters you need to level to infuse into pretty much every other monster, because of some key ability they have (HP+36%?), but I couldn't even kill it, it just wiped me and didn't reappear when I hit retry. Only ran into one my entire time wandering around Bresha 100 AF I think it was. Are they rare or something? Pretty difficult to beat and then probably even harder to successfully catch?

This makes me think my plan should be going for the Vile Peaks fragments so I can get the Monster Catching Fragment Skill and/or farm Essences in Arch for leveling my Golden/Silver Chocobo for racing so I can get those Catalog's for farming more efficiently. Does the type of orb used matter for the chocobo's racing stats or will a lvl 45 Silver/Gold Chocobo have the same stats despite what orbs it's used to get there?

Edit: Found this helpful link for Chocobo Racing which I'll use after I get the monster catching fragment from Vile Peaks I guess since I killed a ton of Pulsework Gladiators when farming Cloudburst and never tamed one.
