An easy way to get the fragment (and possibly the trophy as well) is to close the Serendipity Gate and enter once again. You get a luck bonus when you first use the slots.

After 4600 spins my gil/coins ran out so I just reloaded from my last save point and put 9600 coins back in. I can just do that again and again if tomorrow I don't wake up with the trophy and fragment.

I'm doing it with the machine on fire now, was hot summer last time. Both good apparently. I've even reset the area for the beginners luck thing which is supposed to help your odds.

Edit: I might actually do chocobo races instead if this plan fails.

I just did other stuff around my place w/ the siound on very low so I could hear when I got into super victory mode. that was the only time i paid attention

I found Raspa the fastest way to farm. Like 75k per kill including scarletite and I kill him within the first stagger so it's very fast.

As for slots, it's kinda random. I got it on my first slots attempt, in less than 5 minutes on autoplay. I also have XIIIs bonus and that counts a little..

Am I the only one who didn't have a miserable experience with slots? I did it for maybe 20 minutes, and got two "Victory modes" and hit the 100x50 jackpot 3 times.

Raspa is definitely the best, if you use two Collector's Catalog Heavy formula he drops 150k gil + scarletites, fight takes about three minutes.

Can also do Yomi for 144k gil per fight while farming his rare item, his fight should only take about 4 minutes.

I actually did really well too. I got my lucky coin fragment on my 3rd Victory Mode, which was like my 2nd time sitting down to play the slots.

My complaints come from me trying to sit down and actually make a profit from them... but that's my fault for thinking like a 70 year old lady.

I knew the slots were going to be some fucked up luck based shit based off the JP streamers, so I just saved up gil till I had at least 5k coins, and every other night i'd spend an hour or so trying to get the fragment/trophy. If I didn't hit jackpot I just reloaded my save and did more fragment hunting. I'd kill myself if I spent all day trying to get that fragment. All in all, I think it took about 1500 spins before I got it, roughly 3-4hours.

Finally hit the jackpot tonight after about 3hrs of running.

Started with around 5k coins. I didnt really start winning til about 500 spins into the run. Caught up on some walking dead to come back to SUPER VICTORY hitting the 500 jackpot twice, 50k coins per.

I did patch the game few days ago when I decided to finish off platnium, maybe it affected slots? or again just pure luck?

That's what I did...

I woke up today with 3600 more spins completed and 0 coins. So that's around 8200 spins total and no trophy. I got the fragment but I reset the game due to all the losses.

I'm just going to get the trophy with chocobos and get the fragment after with this same method. Knowing my luck I'll hit the jackpot after like 5 spins.

I lost interest in chocobo racing when I tried it with my maxed out silver chocobo because I got to Fal'cie class easy and then suddenly I was getting pwned. I'll have to read a guide on it.

When I started on the slots, I did it all manually and with each session I ended up going into super/victory mode 1-2 times each and only after spending 1,000~2,000 coins tops (I only play when it's "on fire"). Recently, I bought a shitload of coins, taped L1 down, and walk away. Not a single 777 from over 10,000 coins.

I think auto-play is semi rigged too, I had it running while I was doing other stuff and when I would glance at it every now and then I noticed the exact same rolls in the exact same spaces constantly. I would intervene by manually stopping them now and then, but it would soon go back to repeating the exact same rolls.

(not that it matters anymore for me, since I got the fragment anyway pretty quick, got the super mega bonus winning 5k coins in one go

)

Was winning pretty often in the Fal'Cie class, didn't have health nut, sprinter or improved blue streak on my Silver at that time, so should do even better now that I do have them.

As for the fragment from Casino, I just wasted 16,000 coins on it (gil so stupid easy with 2x durable collectors), while I left the sound on of the game, I just did other stuff, but I missed the moment I got the fragment, probably because I walked out of the room a few times. So could have finished before I had 4800 spins XD

Most stupid fragment ever though. Thank fuck for taping L1 down.

They are rigged on auto-play, I posted some stats for it from IGN a few posts ago.

Farmed materials to build a silver chocobo for Serendibitous and took about 3hrs last night. If you've gotten lucky coin but no trophy just bite the bullet and do some racing, it's not all that bad. Hopefully these episode dlcs have trophies or it's going back in the mail after 100%.
