What artificial mechanic did Gilgamesh have? I don't think anything about him was cheap, he was just genuinely difficult.

Spoiler: show
Also, he looks like the shadowy figure encountered in the Coliseum who keeps warning you to leave.
Yay Snow.
Oh nice a Snow episode while they said we wouldn't get one! I'll probably download it, don't care much for the battle DLC's, but episodes I like.
lol i need to sit my ass down long enough to clear gilgamesh...
the caption for valfodr does mention something about the true form of the arbiter of time or something. i dont know their japanese names..
I had a few questions, even though I am quite a bit late on this stuff...
• Does the Bestiary's "Tamed" crystal icon change back to the "Tamable" cat-head icon when you release/infuse a monster? I wanted to eventually catch one of everything, but I'm not sure if I can use the Bestiary as a quick reference for what monsters I currently have, it's just that I have infused a couple monsters in the past without re-obtaining them, so I'm not sure anymore.
• Do passive traits like "Item Scavenger" or "Bonus CP" trigger even if you don't call the monster out during a battle? For example, I have a Silver Chocobo in my current Paradigm Pack, but I don't really know if I'm getting his Item Scavenger II effect when I don't bring him out since I'm generally farming on Cerberus or Aggression W and I don't care to have a useless Sentinel standing around.
• What determines which and how many Role Abilities a monster can learn through Monster Infusion? I can have a Commando that only knows a handful of abilities, and feed it another Commando that knows a bunch of different stuff, and sometimes I don't get to move over any of those Role Abilities to the monster that ate him. What's the restriction on that mechanic? Are Role Abilities learned in this manner limited to 1~2 and completely permanent?
• Can you easily re-obtain monsters found with Moogle Throw (Chichu) or Sazh?
For the last one: dunno about Sazh (though I think the same rule applies), but you can't re-obtain Moogle Throw monsters.
Bestiary remains "tamed" even if you use it to infuse another monster.
For Item Scavenger and the like, the monster has to be the one you're using when the battle ends.
There is no max on number of Role Abilities a monster can learn. Some are just unlearnable. The number of Role Abilities transferred depends on how developed the monster you're using to infuse is (I forget the exact correlation numbers though.)
You cannot re-obtain Moogle Throw monsters or Golden Chocobo (from a treasure sphere). Not sure about Sazh, might be able to time reversal his zone and obtain him again.
I think what he was asking was, regardless of what the bestiary says, can you tame another one of that type once you infuse it into something else?
I would like to know this as well.
Ah, thanks for the answers~
Also, it's not possible to finish the 100% maps quest before finishing the game, is it?
Damn, I must just be derping about how to get to the 13th floor of Augusta Tower.
You can get Sazh again.
How do you get that last tiny piece of map in the southwestern part of Academia 400/4XX? It's a storefront from the looks of it... closed in both 400 and 4XX, and obviously not there in 500.
edit: neverrrrmiiiind, I didn't know it was on the bottom level...
