but but the coliseum Lightning is the XIII sprite while snow is XIII-2 sprite
All is pussible!
From the revealed stills, it looks like Snow does a bit more interacting with Serah/Noel than the average intro to Jihl/Gilgamesh/Lightning/Amodar/etc. intro... so perhaps he wound up there accidentally as well (attacking Serah/Noel before snapping out of it). Or, perhaps, he did succumb to his l'Cie focus "crystal slumber" after all and this is just an empty husk. I'm assuming the former.
Then, what would the reward for completing Snow's episode be since Sazh's was his crystal?
I just want my Vanille MED, SAB, or RAV. :[
The fragments reveal that Snow went there to become stronger. Chances are that he's simply there to get branded by Valfodr.
That sounds the most likely but does not seem to make sense as to why Snow would ever fight Serah/Noel at all unless it's just an empty husk of a Snow pitted against you (like Jihl/Lightning/Amodar).
Where the shit is Yaag Rosch anyhow? I really expected him to be paired up with Jihl in her DLC, but it seemed weird to specifically mention his unknown fate in-game and not revisit it.
On the overview it's stated that Lightning within the Coliseum is not the same as the Lightning in Valhalla. She was forged from memories.
I usually wouldn't look at intricate details on coliseum battles but considering that Snow is getting a full-blown episode I feel the need to think on it. Looking at snapshots though it does look like he warped there through a time rift.
And why the hell is Snow a Commando? I fully expected him to be a SEN.
Gilgamesh defeated in one stagger:
Very good use of the ATB trick.
And I see he used the +50% ATB weapons. Looks like that ends the weapon debate between the +50% ATB weapons vs the Chain Bonus weapons.
I don't think it ever occurred to me to have two of the same paradigm just to switch between to get the ATB bonus. I guess I never seriously put any effort into the hardest fights, I usually have more fun scraping by, hanging on by a thread because I attempted it at the earlier and lower end of the level spectrum.
Golf Clap. going to try now
edit: lol still can't beat him.. i cant do it in one stagger. my characters are speced out as much as his.. i think its mostly the traits of my Chichu. I could probably stack on a few more.. also that my serah/noel arent using the same accessories..
i can bring him down with multiple staggers tho.. but the most i've gotten him down to is 25% and then its usually just his berserk mode and its quite hard to stagger him there let alone damage later on. I could adjust the paradigm deck accordingly to accommodate power up mode, but overall its still very tedious and requires spamming potions/wounds/etc.
i think what I'll do is go back and infuse more traits into chichu.
My money is on him having signed a contract to fight whomever the arbiter of the coliseum tells him to in order to become stronger, and so he gets forced into fighting Serah. This makes Snow super mad, and that's why you have to fight the coliseum arbiter.
