A friend of mine has actually done a lot of transfers with him, we move the items and gil with one transfer (in game agreement to secure items in event of scam) and it's gone well each time. Have moved a lot of expensive stuff to him thus far, he's a reliable buyer. I didn't know there was any other method to only have to pay $25 for a transfer.

Well here's a fail that finally built up to a conclusion for the last month that extends back to months ago and ultimately back to my second EGLS. Incoming wall of text warning obliged here, so today I was talking with some ls members during solo exp on drk and two members ask why we stopped doing legion long ago, to which I tell them the truth, we had shitty whms that claimed they "had" to be told what pld to cure when holding adds when it was just the one holding adds, barely 3-4 heavy DDs, and only 2 schs with no stun rotation, we could barely clear wave 1 of Hall of An for several months. Apparently this made some ls members, namely one who is a asshole to me on a daily basis who thinks FFXIAH ranking = epeen ls, extremely butt hurt that I told the truth and started bitching about it (this was same guy who bitched to ls ldr for me doing Odin with some friends while we were taking 5 years to gather together like always to event instead of waiting at PJ like an idiot, when if he does salvage with ls ldr during event time, convienently doesn't bitch), I finally got tired of the bs, the lack of interest in any event that's not dynamis/abyssea/lowlevelVW, so I dropped the shell. Problem solved right? Nope.

One of the ls members, a friend who used to lead the EGLS I was in with all of these players, including the asshole mentioned above, talked with me and made me realize I probably made a rash decision when I had alot of friends on ls. So I explained the situation to ls ldr who wasn't there and he said he'd give me a pearl when we gathered for arch-ultima. I get there and wait for a while (to which I ironically told my friend who just returned that I bet I wasn't gonna be allowed back) and while waiting this convo goes up, rest should explain itself, and when I mention ock, it's the nickname we gave to ls ldr of the EGLS I went to after I left the old ls I was in with these guys. Sorry again for wall of text, but i'm glad i'm finally done with all the BS that's been brewing for the last few months.

So like, in general, the way to improve your LS's ability to do an event if it's being let down by certain jobs/people is to discuss it constructively with the jobs/people in question with everyone so that a solution can be reached. If you go through the leader then all the better as people are more likely to take it as constructive criticism and not as a personal attack.

This. You have to be a little more diplomatic when tossing around words that could possibly offend people. There are always people who suck in the game that others tend to ignore. If I were the LS leader I wouldn't have taken you back. You act/sound like you're better than them anyway.

Honestly, I think you did the right thing Robertfb. Some people just need to hear the hard truth of things and sugar coating it is just going to lead to people with a false sense of entitlement. Not to mention even if you did say it more "sensitive" there was no guarantee that the people were going to take the advice anyway and if they get asspain by what you said then the people were already set on their ways no matter what.

The thing of it is though is that we did sugarcoat and try to work constructively with them for months on legion, which still got us nowhere and still caused the same problems we had, which resulted in us quitting legion, In regards to the insult, all I said was the truth when a returning player and a casual player were going "why can't we do legion anymore?", it's true I could have been more diplomatic but considering I get hell regardless for speaking my mind in that ls, I figured the truth wouldn't be bad. Hell I got bitched out at during a Kaggen PUG by the ls ldr just cause I defended myself when that asshole mentioned in previous post was treating me like I was acting better then ls by doing a quick Odin with the other ls members when we were still gathering, when he does salvage that goes into 20+ mins of ls event and says not one fucking word >_>. I've tried for months to constructively help, I've tried to get us to stop neo-odin when we kept wiping at 10 mins at 70% when we kept doing it regardless with same result, hell we still took 18 to do old limbus for coin farming until recently, when I suggested we solo farm coins for a pop.
