Farming Glavoid sets , a group of /followers runs up pops the cock nm. So me and my whm friend are watching them fight , the warrior whos tanking it wipes.rdm on /follow is just standing there getting his face beat in with the nm white so after about 20secs my whm flashes it and i chi blast and claim it. the results are fun.

Those of us in the real world mostly do VW through shouts, and have to deal with gimps. And honestly, if you're an ukon war not cycling down the procs if it pops up GA, even if its NQ weakness, because you have to spam ukon and win the parse, you're an insecure idiot...much like the idiot caladbolg drk I did VW with who, despite numerous spams of "Great Sword 3", kept fucking spamming Torcleaver/Resolution and we ultimately wiped because the other HQ proc was some bst shit.

I do Voidwatch almost solely in pickup groups and this is terrible advice. The overwhelming majority of the damage comes from the select few decent players in the alliance (last Pil I did, 75 % of the combined damage parsed from 3 players.) HV/EV procs are the only staggers those select players should be stopping to get (unless it's magic procs, in which case it's easy to cycle through without gimping your damage too much.)

Couldn't agree more, if I'm on DD and my proc comes up no chance I'm stopping damage. Procs should come from mages unless its 5.

Taint/Mojo: Exactly, if you're ever parsing 40%+ in a PUG VW, then your job is not to proc V:Anything or HV:Anything not your main weapon. Tell someone else to do it, and keep being the only person who ate food and the reason the fight is actually being won.

How many ukons do you drop in 1 given fight? 30? 40? Is dropping 1-7 ukons so you can do the others goin to cause you to wipe? Not to mention most groups usually have 2-3 wars since "if its not ukon war, its shit", so youd be losing out on 1-3 ws's not being ukon. Oh shit, your parse is fucked and youre gonna wipe!!!

What are you gonna do when the only 2 HV weaknesses are bst pet & GA?

When I join PUGs theres generally 1 other person who almost keeps up with me, but I'm always 21%+, groups would have to be really, really bad for anyone to hit 40% total damage lol. The best I ever did I know of was just under 30% on a provenance watcher, probably could of hit 30% but I had to do some GA WS's for GA5.

About this: When it's shitty stuff like Axe, H2H, Dagger, Club or Staff, weapons I don't have super multiattack weapons for, I generally ignore it. But if it's Scythe or GS or Polearm or GA, I don't mind so much since I can do all the procs I have for those weapons very quickly with bahamuts scythe, merc great sword, etc. I might start doing club if I ever buy a kraken club, but I don't really feel like wasting that much gil for a proc weapon.

Had a beauty of a run on provenance watcher last night:

A damn taru (does it make me racist listing this?) nin (don't ask me why he came nin, I don't know) that held us up on 2 of 3 side bc the whole night. When it came to the watcher fight, held us up for TEN MINUTES of the entire bc when he decides to finally tell us he couldn't enter. It's cool though, the leader only said check regal pawprints multiple times throughout the night. Kicker is he then resorts to blaming the entire alliance for his tardiness because "nobody said it in caps so it was hard to see" or some similar bullshit. Damnit pickups!

Another freakin taru, who was sch + sch/blm stunner on watcher. So AFTER the first taru comes in late 10 minutes into the bc time, this guy crops up. The brd rotation was already underway when taru nin finally drags his ass in... but when it came to embrava, there was a problem. His 2 hour was eaten and he never spoke up... until we called on embrava. So cor leader has him drop for wild card, and what do you know, it was successful. We all sighed a huge relief and continued on hoping to bring the smashdown on that smug white dragon. But wait... what's this? The sch is dropping to embrava parties...

I frantically tell him to embrava the other 2 parties asap. He decides to stand there for a min, then finally doing penury/perp and casts it on HIMSELF. The alliance is just awestruck with this guy at this point. Highlight of all this is that he does it twice AGAIN on himself. Invited him back in alliance and he just tells us "hurry up guys, 2hour off just go" -_-

As you can see where this is going, the run goes to hell in a handbasket during the midpoint of the fight as stuns start failing because the sch/blm was one of 2 stunners, and his incompetence seeps into other parts of the fight. There was also a fulltiming maleficus blm who couldn't resist sharing his wisdom that he was tired of people depending on "that spell" (in regards to embrava), but didn't dare say anything when it was brought up why he only had that scythe fulltimed.

I don't know man ; ; He was nin of all things, so had we buffed outside we could have caught the embrava thing + maybe started without nin. But considering we were told to actually wait on him inside, I'm sure we would have just locked buffs and waited even if we buffed outside. Only took it to 47% or something since we had about 2-3 procs the entire fight, none of which I couldn't assist on as MNK even if I wanted to. A 3 was katana and another was axe and by that time we were already plastered over the floors with watcher smoking a cig in a corner.

Thats when you tell them "I didn't invite you as WAR to not proc" and boot them from the party. Knock their idiot asses down a peg, or just rid yourself of their stupid :O. But then you'd have to have been the party leader .
