Doing VW aht urgan and besides the obvious fails of Rapto and Luthian continuous DC on the Bird, people just aren't doing well. I was on WHM which I am not too fond of and the COR-Tarlula (where I wanted to be) is AFK the entire fight. The other WHM is more of a hindrance, as he's not doing shit most the fight. The only reason we WON that fight is because I had fanatics, 13 people on my charmed and a BLM got off a nuke @ 1%. Fanatics wore right before and I got a potion off before I died.

Now, Tarlula has a small infant baby thing. So, apparently she was taking care of her kid. And her BF Nobusagi, the tank is like it's cool, she can leech this.

We're down three people at one point, Tarlula dead and the other two DC or some shit. Fuck that fight and the leader wants TWO blu's.

So, we move on and I go COR and Tarlula is switching to WHM. We now have two BLU's and a THF? Ugh fuck man. Leader is getting mad at me cause I'm like why do we have tow blus? Tarl is afk. Nobu knows I'm bitching so he cops an attitude. Fuck man. I don't care if I come off looking like an ass. Her baby is not my problem, get off the game and stop making this shit harder for everyone else. Hell, get off the game, YOU HAVE A FUCKING KID. 5month old kid and you wanna play on XI all day while your parents watch after it and date a guy who lives nowhere near you on a game. (I know a bit of her backstory)

I find it unnecessary. Could put a heavy hitter in there for better results imo. As I siad: I don't think blu spells come up enough to warrant losing a good DD.

If your other mages are hitting their procs, they definitely come up often enough to warrant two BLUs.

Joined a friend's worm pt in la theine (worst exp camp possible btw) on my 88 blm with the sole intention of skilling up elemental magic and lvling to 99 (blm for ks99) So for two hours I open chests and skill up (277-361 ele magic) with a group of 16 or so.

During this entire time there been one BLM who was afk'n for 20-30minutes at a time on numerous occasions. [...] Eventually I call the d00d out on AFK'n

If I'm reading this correctly, you joined a party to skill up your magic, and you thought it was a great idea to call someone else out for leeching? Granted, they were leeching harder than you, but I would've kept my fucking mouth shut.

Maybe you were really whipping out those keys like nobody's business, which would make it better—if you joined under the premise of being a key whore, that is—but I imagine that their seeing a low-skill BLM tossing out low-tier spells didn't make them think "I should cast more and carry this guy"; it probably made them think, "fuck this alliance, I'm going AFK and leeching the fuck out of it."

In short, I really don't think you were any more in the right than they were. If I were skilling up shit, and not really contributing damage-wise, I'd just consider the EXP to be a side bonus and keep quiet about the whole affair.

Terrible confession: The very last time I partied on RDM, I came out in fell 'melee' gear with 2 swords and spent the entire party doing terrible damage.

And I still healed more than our WHM.

Terrible confession: The very last time I partied on RDM, I came out in fell 'melee' gear with 2 swords and spent the entire party doing terrible damage.

And I still healed more than our WHM.

Granted, 90-99 I leveled almost all jobs in VW instead of going to exp pt, but RDM was one of those guilty pleasures. I showed up (both 90-95 and 95-99) as RDM/WAR and CDC'd all exp mobs to death. I, of course, ended up outparsing any other "DD" in alliance and curing more than "the healers".

I am just glad I'll never have to go back to an "exp pt", ever (unless they add new jobs or increase level! ¬¬).

Because I can't rely on healers for Abyssea EXP PT's, I go on my WHM and set RR, MM, Apoc and I melee and heal people. The sad thing is with 5/5 Shattersoul I pull hate from most of the DD's in those groups. (I'm trying to get mine and wife's alts leeched EXP, My wife and I typically carry the parties as a whole.)

To be fair it's abyssea. You could heal an entire alliance on WAR if you wanted to.

Did our first Nyzul with dual SCHs last night. Got to floor 61 in about 12 minutes. We were doing awesome. Got a lamp floor, no big deal. Just needed to register our code. Saw the lamp and my laptop froze. Had to completely shut down and start back up. by the time I got back we couldnt even get to floor 80
