Gokku is talking about Sirlancelot and Sinistral parsing low during fights where they were asked to proc these things. Whenever we do VW we always carry all our weapons and proc everything we can until it's time to kill. Yes Lance has lots of relics and some empys and great gear and can easily hold his own against any MNK you try to put him with (I've seen your's and yes, his is equal if not better) but he pulls out other weapons to proc things when its needed. I asked you about your club and staff skill and you said you didn't have them capped. If you are just using empy h2h and spamming smite while he is doing shining strike -> the end, of course you will do more dmg. Sinistral on DRK or SAM (which is the job you said you outparsed him on) uses several weapons as well and you were on MNK or THF spamming the same ws over and over. I'm unsure why my convo with Kitty was a big enough deal to post on here. Yes they have atmacites. Yes they can do amazing dmg when it's needed. I consider their ability to be versatile and proc any weapon they can to be more important than their final dmg output.

Whenever you do VW, you mean your LS actually does events? I thought that with everyone being older now that you barely had time to do 4 Nyzuls a week. For that BC in Prov there was no real reason to try and proc a club one, with one or two HV floating around that were getting proc'd, especially if his club isn't capped and if he noticed himself missing a high % of swings. On that particular BC I think I even out damaged Lance on BLM by a few % which is pretty bad considering my BLM just has average gear. I do agree Lance is good most of the time I've seen him but this was pretty fail worthy. I mean come on he lost to Gokku's shitty MNK in a parse (<3 you Gokku).

Lance and I just came back from a 1+ year break. VW is sorta new to him and almost completely new to me. I don't even have access beyond Jeuno t2 because I just haven't had the interest yet. Many of my members have completed the paths and do quite well in all of the harder fights. If using lots of weapons and going for max procs is a problem, it should be blamed on me because I require it of everyone in LS. Myself, I don't have all atmacites capped and haven't seemed to even need them so far. When I came back my character had like 50k curor from being used while I was gone and I haven't had the time to spend farming curor to upgrade them yet. Shit I can only carry 4 stones still! If needing to know that my ls members can do adequate damage in events is important to you, I'll invite you along to one of our next events or we can come to yours and make you feel silly if you wish it so. Personally, I like your ls and all and enjoy the things I do with you guys and Kitty. Petty things like this are what make the game so un-fun for people!

Sorry they made the "random fail" thread for not outparsing your Victory Smite party with a kraken. We'll try harder next time!

I came back from a year break and started VW from the beginning, taking about 1-2 weeks to actually finish and get Prov access, stop making excuses. Farm cruor? How about just leave Jeuno and do a few VW runs for gear, by the time you get what you want/need you generally have a decent amount. Although all I'm not really sure why you took the time to tell us you're shitty, I'm pretty sure we already knew.

Maybe our coming back isn't quite enough to explain. I have a pretty busy rl schedule and Lance is in dental school so we really don't play very often. Mostly just some late nights so it's not like a full return to our old selves. May sound like an excuse or w/e but it's just how it is.

something very similar happened on the Kujata server during SummerFest 2004. guy by the name of Dokaka befriended a bunch of JPs and stole a bunch of high ticket items. The JPs responded by creating a bunch of Galka mules and sat outside the moghouse area in Lower Jeuno and dubbed it 'DokakaFestival'
