if that is the problem for soem people, then they are simply in the wrong shell. Endgame shells dont work that way. You either gear also the jobs up that are usefull or you gtfo.

For the record, In case my original statement is whats causing this, I Wasn't saying you're not allowed to pimp out jobs, I was saying I understand that some people, guy i quoted, are thusly confused by the idea of people pimping out jobs considered "Useless".

I understand why people gear jobs considered "useless", others and myself just don't see the point in ourselves full gearing THF past TH when that's all we use it for. I have to agree with what Nynja said though...as much as that stings.

Have to say I agree somewhat to the above - I've fully geared my abyssea leeched smn which I pretty much only use for ADL and the occasional AV simply because I don't like being gimp and I actually like the job (never thought I would).

I pimped out my SMN mule with full fishing gear and they still only use her for PD.. sigh

Every interaction I've had with Maxavius (starting literally around second day I moved to Fenrir) has shown him to be absolute trash. He was whining about a seal NM and TPing with 20% Haste on MNK.

considering proteus has been soloable for some time, and his pet would keep fighting without him being physically aware - if not raping it and taking its lunch money it is somewhat bewildering how he could have died on the boat for any other reason than afk'ing or not having any pets
