I mean, I'm infamous around here for taking mobs that aren't white and people are surprised that I took one that was? Lol.
But really, wasn't going to make the decision myself. They were indy's helms, I told him to send a tell to indy. He kept sending me tells so I blisted him and blasted Bria down, lol.
This is my policy as well. That reminds me of when I was farming Sobek skins with a friend who claimed Sobek from a group that wiped. One of their members started bitching at us, so when we defeated Sobek, we said anyone from the group, except that person, can take lots (Even the Sobek skins I was there for).
View snapped out of it and locked, I'll admit. Gokku is a monster when he doesn't have tits on the other monitor. Very rare, by the way.
Sho relies on chatmon.
Bechy doesn't normally do the 'afk every 5 seconds.'
Pretty sure spynet is JP and don't worry that's a whole 'nother issue.
Unless I'm on ninja![]()
lol'd>>I've lost much more and never get that mad.
>Hopefully that includes, but not limited to family that died from cancer
But you handled that pretty well.
its moments like those that I so wish I could taste the mixture of tears and cheetos dust on their keyboards.
I always find it funny that people use the "haha you have no life" card when they themselves are sitting behind a computer screen playing the exact same game.
I've taken many white Empyrean NM's that people die to solo. I typically will finish killing and if two items drop, they will get one, if one well then... hey you would have died anyway. White is fair game.
I soloed all of my emps at 99. If another soloer wiped and was polite about it, I gave them the drops after killing it. If people wiped with a group at 99 against bri/sobek/ulhuadshi/carabosse/etc, or a soloer gave me an attitude, I didn't give them shit.
White is fair game, always has, always will be. I mean I can't help sometimes iratham walks up to where random groups Glavoids are being fought
My personal opinion is to take it only when they completely wipe, I don't take it the instant it goes white due to claim error or if they have a chance at winning outside of auto RR zombie tactic.
Both the thf and the whm were dead when I took the Glavoid. They had apoc, but they weren't going to win anyways.
The same happened while working on seals, someone was getting their ass handed to them by Brulo. It went white at ~10%, when the nin and whm both died, and I voked before it depopped. He didn't talk shit or get all butthurt, so he got both of his souls. Previously, I've taken sobeks, brias, cara, CC's, etc, and usually the "OMFG I KIL U ALL!" starts and they get nothing. I've had shit go white on me, we all get unlucky, and if someone else claims, it sucks, but it's easier and faster to just get on with your day and go back to going what you were doing.
I've made everyone an easy link and response to all FFXI shout drama:

but...but....Waterdust?
Posting myself on this thread, because this really sucks.
Spoiler: show
The real fail, of course, is to keep doing Hahava when I got the worthwhile drop since a long ago (I think I have got 5 malas total, but only have screenshots for 4), and the glowing body is just trash. I only "want" it because I already got all other glowing bodies and almost every VW drop so, I want to complete the collection, or just send it to a mule.
Is there any job at all where that body would be useful? I don't see it.
I was told it was useful for COR tp and for proccing stuff with katana.
Can use it on Ninja if you're desperately tired of wearing ugly ass ninja chainmail and don't like the look of Koga. The goofy feather bodies are fun.
