Pretty sure they just farm Muru for points -- Great way to make it, grab 10k points and sell items for 2M+. Good money for a few hours work.

Also, unfortunately, there's no random win thread so /crymeariverbitches. Better than you'd ever done, or will do (In Jornaa's case)
Isn't 19 mobs fairly standard anyway? (Honest question because the last hybrid PUG I went with were killing 18-25 per run)
I think it has to be the dumbest reply I've ever seen a GM come up with.
However, a little later I decided to call a GM myself and report the issue, and although we couldn't get the marrow back at least this GM didn't make up some dumbass excuse:

It's like the GMs have no communication between each other whatsoever. It continues to blow my mind how two different GMs can give two completely different responses.
I remember one time I had previously asked a GM about something and got a response, ended up talking to a 2nd GM later on who gave me some other bullshit response and upon telling him what he said was tripe because of what the 1st GM had said, basically got a "oh... brb" (prolly while he asked someone else) and a "yeah he was right etc"...
It's really not that hard to believe though. I mean just using my work as an example if you ask the same question to the 6 different managers(including myself) you WILL get 6 different answers with only 1 of them being correct. Some people believe it's better to lie to the customer rather than admit that there is a problem etc. It looks like that is definitely the case here.
But whether you work in an office (at which point there's no excuse: "Hey dave, have you heard about XYZ before?") or at home with some sort of continuously updateable database (Imagine a admin-only forum/wiki) there are so many ways you could make the GM service not absolute balls.... yet it is.
Oh I absolutely agree. I'm just saying that the disconnect isn't that hard to fathom. And most customer service reps whether they be phone based or web based just want to give you an answer as quickly as possible while giving you the least amount of information as possible. I will say I have never seen a company that has such consistently bad customer support though. You would think that after a decade they would have gotten their shit straight by now.
Skirata suspended me for CFHing a Heqet.![]()
this has never happened to us in 500+ ADL kill. someone in your group is doing something.
Except no, they are not. Your post is just idle speculation that you're attempting to pass off as a fact with zero basis other than 'It never happened to us'.
The other item this happened on in the past hits the floor anyway. And the person lotting the marrow it happened on had ally lead so only they could set QM (which they did not) plus it never displayed in the log as them obtaining.
There was no QM or third party tool shenanigans as you're suggesting. Just because it has never happened to you does not mean it cannot happen without people doing something shady.
I had this happen on a Quivering Eft Egg. Lotted it on my alt, didn't bother to pass on me while running around looking for Minhocao. Look for it later and it's not in his inventory. Look back in log, nothing about it dropping or being lost.
Funny how you're just repeating what Pchan says in the thread on the OF. And I'll repeat what I said there (since my post was deleted lol):
Just because it hasn't happened to you, doesn't mean it can't happen.
Nobody in our group was "doing" anything, the marrow vanished while the cape remained in the treasure pool. And previously a ring vanished while cape and marrow remained intact. Other people have confirmed this happening to them too. I guess we are all "doing something" then, right? Why the hell would we be "doing something" and risk losing a 13-ish mil item?
