Ep5 was decent. One thing they got right was Deathstroke's reaction time, catching the arrow like a boss. Also, the nod to fishnets was pretty good too.

This one was far more in the direction of lovey dovey teen drama..... I still enjoyed the episode but it just scares me a little that it'll go more that direction. Didn't like Deathstroke at all. At least they kept the sword. I understand going for realism like the recent Batman movies but I just wanted more.
Really liking it. I'm a little scared that he's going to share his secret identity with more people soon and that will not be a good thing as far as show appeal.
I had no idea who the masked guy was. I didn't really think the show needed a super bruiser storyline just because...
They need a story arc that stays appealing beyond a black book of names, but I hope they don't start and draw it out until next season. A weekly action serial is more appealing to me right now than getting immersed in a very possibly uninteresting arc.
Deathstroke is a good addition to Arrow, IF he comes back for Ollie and isn't just there as a back story piece for the sake of the asian guy. Deadshot seemed to die far too easy for my liking but a character like Deathstroke is tactical and could be the perfect antagonist for arrow for the final 12 episodes to tie up season 1.
It's hard for me to possibly see how they can play out for a second season without becoming slightly cheesy about it, how do you incorporate canary in to the picture, if at all.
I do however like all the references to the book, Speedy, fish nets & the beard when he was found on purgatory.
Also, Jack fucking Harkness.
Well, being that it is a comic book show we dont know Deadshot is dead.
My theory for Deathstroke
Spoiler: show
I Only hope we get to see ollie take his eye.
I liked that Ollie and Diggle were shown training together. It was a decent episode overall, but filler.
Passable filler ep.
fuck off with this filler bullshit, it was showing a very important step in his character development and realizing there's more to helping the city than just his kill list
So, IMDB has this episode guide where you can see the full cast for each episode through ep10. ep11, season finale, only has half of the cast listed, so far. Could be some fun spoilers in there.

God bless the CW for making shows with full, 1990's size, seasons regardless of ratings. Looking forward to 20+ episode seasons to come.

I like watching arrow because I know nothing of the comic version. Seeing big bad as the father of his best friend was a nice surprise.
It's funny, I just started watching Torchwood on Netflix about 2 days before seeing him on this show. At the end of the ep when he argues with his son, I still thought he must be the older brother until the word "dad" was used afterword. Seriously, did he schtoop his maid when he was 11 and end up with a kid or was it just a poor casting decision???
Also, love this show, but really hating Torchwood after 6 eps.
Were we given an age for the characters? If Tommy and Oliver are 27 or so (I'm not sure they're supposed to be that old, given the fact the show's on the CW, but it seems a bit given Laurel's position, I'd have a hard time saying they're any younger) and we say that Barrowman's character is 45 (Barrowman himself is 45), that would make him 18 when he had a kid. Not completely unreasonable. The older Barrowman's character is (or the younger Tommy is), the more reasonable it seems.
Then again, there's no guarantee that he's even his biological father. This is a TV show on the CW based on a comic book.
I'm digging Huntress, though the lawyer lady is more up my alley.
Edit: Its the hair.
When I first saw Huntress I didn't think she was pretty. She cleans up p good
