Ah alright, yeah I was wondering if it was patched but I didn't see the notes, that's good to know. And yeah, we've cleared NM a lot of times and always did the rotation, so we should be ok. We just need more practice dodging things 100% since in HM it's all one shots... We're making progress, it's a very unforgiving fight, but hopefully we'll get it!

Listen/look for the secondary aggro and watch her as she's turning to face someone and be ready to backstep or jaunt pretty much can also start moving ahead of time as she's turning so you can just side step it. It's pretty easy to get down once you get used to the feel of it. Just play safer once she starts getting attack speed. Before then you can pretty much keep running to the side for pretty much everything and just save your evasive skills (excluding laser if it's directly centered on you). Just make sure you DON'T corner yourself, always give yourself room to move around in.

Pretty much have to play a bit paranoid mode to dodge them, especially when she has the haste buff.

Try to stand away from others.
Attack while the queen is doing some form of other attack.
If the queen is facing your direction, move/face to where you can jaunt quickly, She can do laser after some other move while turned around, she can also double laser.
Notably after her hover/land and 2-3 jumps, and you are the target, she will do a laser after the jumps at you (well 50% chance for me, she just really hates me I guess).

Is archer used for much these days pve wise, or is sorcerer still always the go to for ranged dps? I can't decide which one I prefer, but sorcerer just seems to do so much more damage at least at lower levels

Sorcerer just has a higher damage output than Archer does, simple as that. I'm sure people still play Archers (just like people still played dragoons, amirite!?!) but I can't say if one will get chosen over the other for that dps spot.

Have they made any of those big changes to Zerkers yet that cut the charge time? Are they useful? Trying to figure out what to level now, definitely want to take a DPS route.

There have been a couple of patches to Berserker to reduce charge time and buff the class in general. Overcharging also boosts skill power a ton now. Vampiric Blow was changed too to instantly chain off of an overcharged skill. Overall, Berserker's DPS went through the roof, and as far as I know they're hands down the strongest DD in the game now in raw output. Mine only has +9 Abyss axe and she just destroys things even with that, the class is a lot of fun, if a little harder to play well than Slayer faceroll.

Someone was talking about Slayer's getting nerfed in the upcoming patch for battlegrounds. Is that PVP related nerfs only?

Small tweeks, however all classes are having their RNG reset gylphs reworked to be cooldown reduction instead of full reset. This include slayer backstab. Some slayers skills have had damage increased, some decreased.

With the current endgame dungeons, which dps is more preferred or easier to manage between sorceror and berserker? damage wise they seem to be pretty close after the berserker update, i've only just got to 60 on my main after starting up again so only ran AC so far. Is it easier to dodge/avoid half the moves on sorcerer given zerks general lack of movement, or are they both equally viable esp when it comes to pugs since yeah finding friends is difficult of late

zerkers out dps sorcs the crits are retarded now and come way more than they use to.

buttt zerkers are more at risk @ endgame dungeon like Queen HM.

sorcs are fairly out of the way of the fight only time you have to react is lasers imo.

but for Zerkers its - react to doughnut / react to burst (and try not to fuck this up and get 1-shotted cuz you can't get out of range soon enough) - try not to get tail swiped

AC HM doesn't really count its more of a "pace yourself .... DPS race .. k pace yourself again last 20% DPS RACE AGAIN GOOOO" and avoiding lasers / kill worms.

play whatever you have the most fun as. just be good at what you do rest will fall in place.

So, anyone have a current/updated link for the panty patch for Elin? Looks like the blog that use to have it stopped updating back in August.

I seemed to have patched fine completely forgetting I had the files in, thankfully. From the looks of it, it is still working but the new armors have the boy shorts that need to be gotten rid of. Well, they don't look too bad on the Plate stuff I tried on, but I didn't inspect them enough to notice any clipping or other issues that caused me to hate them to begin with. They didn't seem as plasticy/shiney either, but that could have been the lighting in Habere.

Also, asked in the "F2P" thread but I'll ask again here. Is there a way to copy over UI settings? I lost all my UI sizing/etc I'm guessing when JC got merged. I'm not seeing anything that looks like a settings to copy over, though... so I'm guessing it's a no and I'll have to tweak everything back to how it was.

Hey, redownloading my client now to try to play again. I'm tempted back mostly by the free+arenas. I currently have a maxed out Lancer and Warrior. I enjoyed pvp on both, but I liked Lancer a bit more. When I played though, Lancer wasn't that great for 3v3. If I want to do well in Arenas, would you recommend warrior over lancer? I quit shortly before the tank patch, so I never got to see how that change effected my characters.

I would also be interested in an updated site with the KR models. I know the Lady in Red and Black Magic outfits were changed for us as well (for playboy copyright issues I think?), so I'd really like to mod in the real outfits with the tail, cuffs, and bowtie.

Lnc and War are both strong in 3v3, as are Lnc + War teams. You've been gone quite a while.

There is.. I just forget how to do it. Hopefully someone can answer it. Sorry to be not so useful other than assuring you there is a way. I just know it's in the settings somewhere, maybe under the settings for the controller itself in game?
