So, umm, I am afraid to venture onto the official forums right now, hopefully someone here has an idea... My account items from the collector's edition (lion mount, jewelry) and from my subscription (gold weapon skins) are all missing. On the tab where they should be it says to preorder or buy the collector's edition >.> Is this because the cash shop is down right now? I figure they should be back eventually, since the collector's edition was registered on my account long ago, I'm just wondering if it's happened to anyone else and if it's been reported to EME.

Oh, and a bonus weird thing... I looked at my map to check dailies and saw I had a red ! in Lumbertown. Somehow I was re-flagged for the early series of quests involving Seravy. I had to strip naked to be able to cast anything on him that didn't kill in 1 shot so that I could use the dart on him to do the quest. A number of other Lumbertown area quests appeared to have been reset as well, since I was able to pick up and complete them while messing with that mission thing. I know for certain I did do most of those quests back at level 15 or so...

^That first part sounds like a glitch of some sort. I have all my preorder and collector edition items, but I've been playing since launch. Maybe that's where the glitch is? You'd have to ask customer service, in my dealings with them they've been very helpful.

Both of my chars have that Lumbertown quest re-flagged. It's got to be a glitch too. I was planning on ignoring it.

LT reflagging is related to them adding more quests to the area. There was a short downtime yesterday to address an issue with some quests duping there, too. Nothing for highbies, I'd imagine, so ignore at your leisure.

I had the same thing happen to my level 14 mystic which I was playing only two days before. Had to start doing the story quests from the initial camp right outside of town. And I know for sure I was like 5/7 on one of the kill quests, but the entire quest was dropped, and I had to start over again.

It only took me about 10mins to catch up again, so I went ahead and repeated them. There are a couple of new quests in that area, too.

Is there any reason to craft weapons/armour in this game? Looks like dungeon gear completely outclasses it at end game and dungeons drop better loot for most leveling ranges too. Is it just for those between-dungeon level ranges where you can get a marginally better one for a few levels or is it actually worth making the level 60 oranges?

Te best set of gear out right now is crafted. The mats come from mchm nexus and battlegrounds

Ah cool, guess this DB is outdated cause it lists Argon Corpus drops with much better base stats than the crafted stuff. Thanks.

Teracodex is outdated, but it still has the best in slot crafted items, I'm pretty sure that was the last update where teracodex updated their database. Look at the crafted items and find the ones that say "Visionmaker armor." at the bottom of the item description and those are the best in slot PvE gear you can currently get. Used to be best PvP gear too, but I'm pretty sure the new arena gear is better.

How so? It's better for PvP gear, not PvE. It makes sense you get better PvP gear from PvP instead of mostly PvE like before.

VM is still best for PvE.

Eww because arenas are 0 fun to do and I hate being forced to do a type of PVP mode I find unfun because it's where the best gear is from.

Are they like WOW arenas?

pretty much, except these aren't boring as piss after doing them 3 times and you're still mildly competitive without top end PvP gear

Is there a "quick fix" for the patcher loop error? My friend updated yesterday and logged in just fine, but today the patcher is trying to redownload the patch over and over again. I thought I recalled this happening before to people.

iirc you have to reinstall do another folder outside of the main directory, as that's what causes the issue, however you can have him try resyncing his windows clock to time.windows.com. Click clock -> Change date and time settings -> Internet time -> change settings -> update now and see if that helps.

I'll mention the clock thing, I had to do that on my wife's computer but for a different reason. I think he tried several other suggested methods because he said he had to try a re-install now. Just as well as the server is so congested we probably wouldn't have played for long anyway.

Arenas and BG's are only at Lv60, and you access them by bringing up the Social Menu > Battleground Matching.

As far as healers go, mystics can do alright but they're harder to play. Priest's heals are bigger and easier to use, generally priests are more useful when your group is learning a fight, but when you have a fight on farm mystic is better because their buffs are better.

Yeah I know priests take negative skill compared to mystic, I was just afraid they overbuffed priests to the point where mystics were inferior and bad.

So where do we get our free EMP for buying the CE? Do we have to redeem them on the site? The TERA: Rising thing just says "Free En Masse Points: deposits $5 (standard) or $10 (collector’s edition) worth of EMPs to your e-wallet." Doesn't mention anything about claiming them, but I don't have any EMP in game when I go to the cash shop. Or have they not been given out yet?

Knoxxer said on the forums that it'll go out automatically, but it hasn't been done yet. They're trying to get the store working and stable for everyone, then will distribute our store credit.
