I actually tried that and the controller options weren't there ^^; I got to the controller remapping menu by pressing the left middle button, normally the Select button on a PS3 style controller. I use a Logitech controller on the PC because I could never get BlueTooth to properly connect to the PS3 controller; the buttons worked, but the analog sticks were always messed up.

So I'm trying to masterwork my disc - which would be my first item I've ever attempted to MW - and I'm finding the whole process to be rather frustrating. What is the generally accepted best way to go about proc'ing MW? I have seen people mention just buying 1k+ common idents and running through those. Is that generally seen as the best way to go in terms of money spent per successful MW proc? Or should I just suck it up and farm master enigs?

At this point, I am 0/53 on Master Enigmatics, and 0/700 on Common Enigmatics. Does the disc being +9 have any impact as far as anyone knows?

Also, I'm sure it can be Masterworked.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Enchantment level doesn't matter. Just use master scrolls, it takes long enough to burn through a stack. I personally don't even t13 unless I have 40-50 on me. They keep increasing in price, and I'm considering "investing" my liquid gold into them like bonds to combat the decreasing value of gold with inflation.

Found out a friend is playing and am gonna transfer to their server once I hit 40. Mainly wondering if storage is locked to my current server or if having no other chars would swap it over. If the former, guess I have some shit to sell.

so how do you know the prices on the EME store and know how many points to purchase? like it just shows the items to me that are there, but none of them have a price. what the fuck? Do I have to buy points to even see prices?

In game, Valkyon Outfitters has all the points and crap there. You actually purchase the items with the points through that interface.

It's a new icon in the main menu, 2nd one from the right, when you hit ESC to bring up the UI. You can access it anywhere.

Can anyone who plays on the KTera servers do me a favor? I'm trying to figure out what the highest (average) Crucible of Flame score is in KTera for comparison here on the NA servers. Thanks.

Avarice, I've only been doing fast mark1 clears whenever I have the time, but it sounds like you're pushing for a high score. Any substantive differences in rewards between mark1 and mark3 other than the chance at VM designs? Is it just more of everything?

Mark III gives substantially more points per kill than Marks I and II, but the risk factor is multiplied appropriately. I wouldn't say the fights are as technical as Shandra Manaya (which has things like debuff swapping and barriers), but the bosses all hit substantially harder than she does (excluding her instagibs); like fucking trucks. My Lancer is 2/3 Visionmaker armor at +12 (rolled for PvE), and I get hit on average for 20k or so (with the correct crystals as well) from a boss's normal attacks, crits for around 25-28k. So you really want to pay attention and learn what a boss's tells are so you can avoid damage to the best of your ability.

You're gonna also want to coordinate stuns and CCs with your party, so Warriors are extremely useful in Crucible; the longer a boss is stunlocked, the more free time you have to damage it, and the time bonus for completing all four bosses is also pretty significant. The coins are pretty RNG though, so a lot of scores can depend on how well you do in the coin phases and if you get lucky there. If you have any other questions about it, I'll help you out to the best of my knowledge.

I actually like the scoring mechanic of the new dungeon. For PvE, I don't necessarily consider "World Firsts" that grand of an achievement since most groups that attain them do so by brute forcing it due to a lot of time to dedicate to it. Scoring on the other hand, is a constant battle of who can improve and tweak their strategies the best. Add the fact that you only have a couple attempts a day (not including reset scrolls), it basically becomes do or die once you enter. Just reminds me of the old arcade days when Hi-Scores mattered and people would attempt to top the charts. I do that with Mushihimesama Futari at my arcade, always a constant battle with some random guy I've never even seen. >.>

Also funny to hear Neralas's qq or shit talk whenever he loses/regains 1st place lol.

I'm not too worried about strat, just wondering if it's worth the extra time investment. How much more fodder/alkahest/MES/etc. are you getting on mark3 vs mark1?

Ah, in terms of drops, I don't think there's too big of a difference between Mark I and Mark III, though I've always done Mark III since day one, so I'm not positive. On Mark III, we generally get about 200-300 gold per boss (before the five-way split), a handful of green fodders, 1-3 blue fodders, and 1-2 gold fodders. Cyclops will always drop a Heartshare Pendant (4% - BoE/Can't Trade) with small chance of it being a Bloodtouch Necklace (6% - BoP) instead on Mark III. VM recipes can also drop, but they're not as high a drop rate as some initial rumors made it out to believe; we've only seen one VM recipe in about 20ish clears of the place.

So do elites get in the game faster then free players? Got my buddy a month of elite status to help him on the queues and he's still sitting in queue for a long time.
