Founders get priority queuing, Elites unfortunately do not.
Thanks for the info. So it sounds like if I'm just going for straight-up moneymaking purposes with a few friends and PUGs to fill in, m1 will be my best bet. But once I can actually manage to get together an MCHM static, we'll go for m3. I lucked out and got my Bloodtouch with +stun on it already, which was a huge relief.
I'll PM you a founder's code that you can give your friend that should get him around the long queues; I have a few extras lying around, I just need to find where I placed the boxes. As for why people would pay for Elite and the like, the perks you get are nice, but unfortunately the server load during prime time is pretty bad. I'd assume they can't give elites priority queuing because by then they'd be giving it to too many people because they have so many elites, and it'd defeat the purpose.
I question how many are elites and not founders though. Doubt it would be that many at this stage, otherwise I assume they bought a copy to preempt if they were that interested in the f2p news.
I dropped 20 on the game before the F2P came up from maintenance. Makes me glad I did.
Hit 40 earlier tonight, though, so I'll be server hopping to join up with a friend I found out had an old 60 from earlier sub days. Dumped a fair chunk of gold making myself attuned armor, but figured +6ing things will give it some decent longevity since that's not too hard to do. Though I couldn't snag enough runes from the AH to make myself an axe just yet. Hopefully there'll be 16 up tomorrow at not-stupid prices.
Howdy! I'm new here with the intent of one question and many more in the future, most likely.
A guy messaged me the other day telling me he put up an offer on one of my items and if I could go check. I was in a dungeon at the time so I went by the brokerage and hour later and didn't see any notification for an offer. Searched through what I could and again, didn't see any offers. I was wondering if I did something wrong or if there's some special process to see an offer (or if he actually didn't post one up). In frustration I just took the item down and mailed it to him for free.
Thanks!
Are you talking about him wanting to do a bargain deal with something you have on AH?
From what I figure, if the seller is online, you can try to haggle the price down a little. When someone wants to, you should get a message in your chat log with some clickable options to accept/deny. It's fairly straightforward from there, and once done, you pick up your sale proceeds as normal. If you're the one looking to haggle, you'll need to find the item on the AH and click the Make Offer button if you're able.
Also, a lot of times people will use the price negotiation and pay full price because it lets you avoid the 10% broker tax, so be on the lookout for that. If you use a chat tab that filters out global channels, you may want to make sure that the tab you use has price negotiations in it or else you might miss sales.
I really wish it was just an Accept/Decline button as the negotiation process, though. Having to open the extra window and both confirm it again is unnecessary, and tedious if you're doing a boss.
I have a dumb question. I was told yesterday that attack speed isn't that important of a stat for a sorc, that I should get a necklace with double crit lines even if I lose the 6% attack speed. Does attack speed cap out at anything, and does it stack with Burst of Celerity? Was that good advice? I have one attack speed line on my weapon, and a Chain of Deceit.
Why can you queue for dungeons when you're -3 to the mobs, doing 0 damage, and getting literally 1 shot by every boss/mob in the dungeon?
As well as being able to queue when you're +4 to the dungeon, making bosses drop nothing?
Perhaps they expect people to +6 gear to be able to function at a lower level. Personally, I was just overleveled for CR due to basically doing every quest I've found. Of course, I got boned on quest progression during the bomb part because some jackass sped through and blew it up while I was talking to Elleon, thus not on that part yet.
So I spend quite a bit of time gathering materials for my few crafts, is there anyway to increase or change the ratio of results while gathering so they favor the default result? By this I mean don't go out to get cochineal beetles and all that other crap and getting those things actually hinders my task. I'm maxed out on all gathering skills, would using the special necklaces to boost/augment that help you think? Or am i just stuck with random results?
I believe the plentiful nodes give out the HQ versions, but I don't think anything changes with the dye mats. Just save them up and make munsel dyes for coin.
The 500g rep hats say "not tradable, cant put in guild bank" but can I give them to my alts?
Yea, if you can put it in your normal bank then you can transfer it to alts as long as the item isn't Bind on Pick Up.
Why wasn't this added to NA tera?
Ktera got this change? Is it coming to NA tera too?BAMs in the open world zones have been adjusted so that they can be soloed by all classes. HP and difficulty has been greatly reduced. Enraged BAMs will drop HP and MP motes when attacked by players. Some attack ranges were reduced. Many quests requiring the player to kill BAMs have been improved, and will require fewer BAM kills to complete. To compensate, the exp rewarded for killing open-world BAMs has been reduced.
Because no one wanted those changes. There was a large amount of posts made on the OF about wanting BAMs to not be nerfed since their size and difficulty was one of their biggest draws to playing the game to begin with.
