Bastion has a severly annoying drop pattern. After giving Sono that bow, I saw at least 3 more, SIX slayer swords, 2 priest staves and finally got my lance. Armor wise, got my feet, only piece I saw. And then of course the blue earrings, alot of em.

The armor is retarded hard to get to drop it seems, its just flat bad.

what lance and other gear for lancer drops from that 22 bastion? i never really got the chance to see what dropped since PUG just grab everything before i can get to it... i should probably join a guild for beta lol

Sorcerer is a little lackluster at 22, as are all classes really. Aside from nuking, they get access to an AOE sleep, a semi-bind type root, and two single target player debuffs. Mostly though, they shine as pve/raiding powerhouses and group pvp machines.

So are slayers that gimped in terms of dmg? From what ive read it seemed like they need a buff to stay competitive with zerkers in pve/pvp?

Hopefully we get info about release a little quicker now that loltera posted their beta schedule. Seeing as how NCSoft is trying get their property back anyway, wouldn't be surprised if we see an increase of activity. Not that tera is worth giving an ounce of fuck about, i'm still hoping its an excuse to pick up the pace and be less vague.

I'm gonna help you, because i'm not I'm not impressed by TERA at all. In some areas it does shine, but overall i wasn't very impressed. I only made it halfway through the starting area before I had to shut the game down. I'll start at the beginning.

I spent probably a half hour staring at the character creator in awe at just how awful the races are. You've got your normal boring humans, Generally tit-tastic castanic and pretty boy male castanic with an 18-pack, giant rock beast motherfucker, pandas (which I looked it and was instantly reminded of the cutesy annoying animal ferret things from Aion; recessive nightmares were triggered), Ellin, some other generic rock beast thing, and finally the emo-pretty boy with his tit-tastic significant other. I ended up picking the second generic rock/metal humanoid beast thing, which I ended up hating anyway because his hands were almost dragging on the floor.

So i'm not sure how these asians were able to get away with Elin, as they are basically a child molester/furry dream. Its seriously morally disturbing seeing these little kids run around wearing bunny ears and a cotton tail, with no pants on. How the fuck can they get away with this shit?

Anyway I get in game as a sorc and start blowing shit up. Then I realize i can't fucking move while I shoot fireballs. What the fucking fuck. I have to stay rooted while I shoot everything. This "action" mmo just turned into something far less awesome, and i'm only level one. I can't fathom how they wanted to go full action and not have moving while shooting. I think I had more fun playing Dragon Nest.

The second turn off was the generic old school MMO quest system. Seriously disappointed that they went this route. Not only is it old and boring, but having to run back breaks up the flow of me flinging fireballs at shit. Disappoint. I will say at this point though that I was in love with the graphics. TERA is truly gorgeous, and that was apparently without HD textures. So I reach a point where I come up to this dude for the main story quests, and I get this little boring cinematic where the camera zooms into this Tree eating cute little piggies, accompanied by god awful voice acting. My second recessive memory from Aion comes back to haunt me. Then I reach the tower where all the NPCs are and looked at their armor. The third recessive memory from Aion comes back to haunt me.

I got to the mission where I had to kill some rocks and they started to roll into me, and at this point I was actually happy that some mechanic needed me to think, rather then just use my jump back ability when they got close to me.

Yeah it was about there that I stopped. The horrendous asian nature just got to me at that point and I started hating it more and more with every Elin that I saw.

Or rather, why expand on it by writing nothing but a wall of hate over here? It's obvious you don't give a shit and it's obvious no one here gives a shit if you do or don't. lol

or you could make your own pug and then control how the loot is sorted ie. class specific items auto to that class.
would save yourself the agony of defeat on those rolls lol.. and everything not common = roll

got my sorc weapon on the first run i ever did. Didnt know it was that rare never saw another 1 out of 10 more runs..

They've already been buffed, and they're receiving another in the next patch along with Warrior. As they stand now, they're a little under Berserker in terms of damage.

Haven't kept up with or paid any attention to crafting/gathering at all up to this point. Was looking at this site, and it seems pretty simple. Is that guide up to date?

That was CBT in Korea, about 2 years ago. That game has the same concept in terms of actually accomplishing the craft, but it's even more simple now with craft quests.

can't recall from this weekend, but is there an option to turn dialogue subtitles on? hoping so, so i can mod the audio to jp or korean to get rid of the angry old lady hume voices in the NA version.

Well there are subs in all of TERA's CSs. As for the random NPCs, they're like every other game and say useless shit anyway so it won't matter. Quest NPCs don't matter either cuz you read the log/UI.
