Thanks for the driver info. Looks like their drivers have gotten a lot better since the last time I had a Razer mouse. Went ahead and ordered one overnight so I'd have it in time for Friday.
Weird, the lights on mine have never felt warm.![]()
They're not like "Oh my god, my hand is burning" hot, it's just noticeable when you take your hand away to do something like type on the keyboard or whatnot, and then put it back; you can feel a sort of heat from the number pad on the side. On mine, at least.
I wonder how many Naga sales this thread will end up generating.
Curse all of you, I wasn't interested in the naga in the first place because of the cluster fuck of buttons and hitting something I wouldn't want to on accident. Then I saw there was a Hexa version. The hexa has only 6 buttons and an awesome color, and I like the fact that I can just rest my thumb on the buttons, put weight on any corner of my thumb without moving it and have access to every button. Would be a pretty OP combo combined with all the macros you can make with an N52te.
Don't like that price though, it's more expensive than the regular naga.

Both showing them as 79.99 to me.
Amazon has the regular one for $68 and the Hex for $80.

I was not aware of the Hex version, but I think I would like it better than my normal Naga. I find myself using mostly only 6 buttons from the panel because I don't like to move my thumb around it much and to increase the amount of possible binds I tend to use Ctrl + Naga key combinations.
If I had spare money I'd give the Hex a try.
Yeah who shops at retail!? I think that's the mouse I am going to be picking up when I add the finishing touches to my rig right before official Tera launch. I just hope it goes down in price by then lol but either way it looks very neat.
It's been on sale at newegg a few times for fifty bucks, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Kinda want a Naga now, but what's the deal with this I've read in a review?
With Razer's release of the Synapse driver software users are REQUIRED to sign-up for their cloud service before you get access to all of the features on the mouse. There's no opt-out option, and you have no control over the mouse through the software until you sign-up. If you pay close attention to the terms in the software Razer retains the right to not only pull undisclosed information from your machine, but that information also includes PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION.
Not using their software results in the basic mouse drivers provided by Windows. Good luck finding the old drivers on their website - those have managed to disappear when the Synapse software was released.
It is true and it is annoying. The synapse service is actualy interesting, but it has the hard to understand decision of not allowing an offline version and thus being uncapable of configuring the mouse if you cannot or simply don't want to sign up.
Synapse is a service/driver hybrid for all Razer products. It allows you to (automaticaly) store your razer peripherals settings on their servers so that you can use them everywhere.
I personaly find this over kill.
Regardless, the last part is overly dramatic. Truth is you will not find the old drivers at Razer, but there's plenty of repositories on the internet to find older drivers.
But I won't defend them; I don't like this decision either and was stumped by it when I updated drivers. The hardware is still unmatched for me when it comes to gaming mice though.
Was there any horrible congestion/queue's to play? I hope not.
There was in CB1. Log in early and stay in to avoid the queues. Last time the servers came up ten minutes early too. I'll be camping the server screen at 2:30, est.
It only bad like that on the first day, by time Saturday rolled around, I never experienced any problems or waiting times having to log into servers.
Wow go figure work would call me in to update some work info I have been needing to do for 2 weeks. Thinking about showing up 10 minutes late just to login/make character and idle jumping till I get back to avoid congestion.
The Naga's keypad definitely gets warm. I love it since my fingers get cold.
