Was having issues with my download as well. Kept getting multiple errors, mainly checksum. Told me to uninstall the whole game and redownload everything again. Didn't work for me personally, but apparently it did for some people.

I don't know if the US client is special, but with the EU one we can just copy the files from a PC to another and it will run fine.

If you can try to get the patch on another PC or perhaps even a Virtual Machine, things might work for you. Whatever the thing that causes this is, it may be tied to other software so a clean enviroment may work out.

So where do I buy enchanting powder? I cant find a single npc in Velika to sell me it.

Same guy that sells the ID scrolls. The normal white powder is the first item that goes for like 250 gold.

@Meresgi: All Standard Merchants sell the default enchanting powder, its the first choice (upper left) on the menu when you speak to them. Not sure about the other 2 colors though.

The guys who sell the scrolls only have campires, ovamelds and other crap for me, no powder. These are the merchants i'm talking to in most towns. Wrong NPC?

What are some of the headsets you guys use? I'm looking for a new one to replace this generic piece of shit I have, but I need some ideas. I don't want it to be terribly fancy or anything, just remotely comfortable. I was looking for something in the $30-$50 range, but am willing to go a little over if there's a decent piece for it's asking price.

My headset is amazing Razer Orca headphones and then I tore the mic out of another headset and stuck the core around the right ear phone of these headphones lol. Ghetto to the max.

I bought this guy from bestbuy, it's designed to work with the 360,ps3, and the pc. I have it hooked up to all 3 and it works great. It works while charging, and has fairly decent sound (not quite as good as a headset with dedicated plugin's though) but it's comfortable, and you can set it up so the button on the side, functions like a push-to-talk for vent.

The mic has some issues if I lower it too much (this wasn't an issue until somewhat recently), but for how long I've had it, I'm surprised it still works. I even busted the USB part off on accident a while ago, put it back on, and it's still working. >.>

edit: I didn't get it from the link posted though, that was just the first place I found it in Google. Think I got it on sale at Best Buy a while ago.

lol 19+ I think it's 20 in NA. You can 2-3 man it at 20/21ish so it's fairly easy.

On the topic of headsets, I use a Razer Carcharias. Has the usual razer awesomeness like braided cloth wire and stuff... After going through a new headset every three months for almost two years, decided to get something that'll last. Very comfy, haven't had any problems with it. I honestly don't know how much it was though, cause it was a gift >.>;
