On the character page there's a slot for inner wear, are there items to put there? I still haven't come across anything for that slot, and I'm curious what it's for.

It's worth a shot, I managed to score the blue lance in less than 3 fast runs. (which mostly consisted of herding up rooms of mobs)

Also scored the zerker axe, bow, and priest weapon. Just wish work didn't get in the way, would have been able to do the 27 instance, gotta wait now.
Is the physical collector's edition only sold on the site?
Oh, you know its coming. If they pulled that shit with ugly deformed sprites like with Trickster and other Korean MMOs, its only a matter of time before TERA has bikini summer costumes and revealing yukatas.
Is anyone getting issues with lag spikes every few mins my game will freeze for a fraction of a second regardless of maxed or minimum settings. This happens in town around tons of people or out alone by myself doesn't seem to matter. Otherwise running at 80 fps.

i put a robe on my sorcerer last night and i swear to god my high elfs tits defy gravity, soon as i put it on i was like "that material shouldn't be holding those tits in".
btw those of you with the Naga.. did you use the little plastic stick-on things that came in the package? About 1 day in the glue started to warm up and the button would slide. By sunday it wouldn't stay in place. I kinda wanna super glue that plastic attachment to my naga lol... having it slide was kinda annoying but when i first put it on it was a great little feature.
@ pilfer
Yes that did happen to me but it was like once an hour or so so not to bad, figured it was my computer trying to tell me not to play pc games for 16hrs straight
i7/ati 5870/8gigs
@pilfer, did your issue also result in your fps dropping to the mid 30s as well? After playing for more than 2 hours at a time I was experiencing the same thing and my fps would max out around 30-35. A full restart would bring it back up to 80fps every time though. Over the course of the weekend it only became bad enough to do this like three times iirc.
No it happened from log on to log off. When it would spike my fps would drop to like 30 but the screen literally froze for .5-3 seconds then right back to 80 fps. For an example a couple times it froze while walking out of town and I was instantly pkd without ever seeing anything happen then 2 seconds later I'd respawn in town with 50 people on screen and no lag
This sounds like a problem with the streaming system of the game when loading new resources. It's pretty strange, specialy because you have an SSD drive which is, well, basicly supossed to optimize drive access <.<
If you have another HDD, try moving the game to that one and see if that stops it. This would pinpoint the problem and at least you can work to fix it from there.
I think there's some options to configure how the engine streams the content within the INI files, but no guarantee that the game actualy uses these settings.
Never used them. Supossedly were for training purposes and I figured I'd be better off if I didn't get used to feeling them on the buttons anyway.
Is there any way this could be Internet connection related instead of my pc. I'm playing on shitty wireless connection.
Although I wouldn't discard it, the way you describe it (everything coming to a halt on screen, etc) sounds more like some hardware mess up. It is ofcourse possible that the game acts weird with a faulty connection, so if you can try a LAN cable test it out too. I'd still test the HDD theory first though.
I'm assuming ofcourse that you have your GPU drivers up to date, and all that yadda yadda.
Got a question, what do you press to hide the UI for a screenshot?
last night i was told it was either ctrl+z or alt+z
tera site confirms its ctrl+z
Is anyone using a controller for Tera? I am currently using one of those $25 logitech ones and by the end of the beta my standard combo and shield block buttons are pretty much worn out lol. I was wondering if the xbox 360 controller performs well or any suggestions on another.
I used a controller for everything in XI aside pressing macro's... and I don't like using a controller in TERA. It's much more fluid and faster w/ a keyboard/mouse (especially if you have a mouse that has a lot of possible key binds on it like me)
In K-TERA, I used a PS3 DualShock controller. Once it was set up, and the game properly detected it, it worked very well. Getting it to that point was somewhat a trial, but maybe it won't be so bad, with better support, and a menu I can actually read.
Seconding this.
I've been switching between KB/Mouse and a logitech dual action, but the keyboard setup gives my hand cramps from trying to hit wasd while holding hotbar buttons down (Charge attacks), while the controller seems infinitely less precise with aiming/movement (especially since, again, I'm trying to aim with the right thumbstick while holding down a button with the same hand). Anyone playing Berserker/Archer run into these issues too, and any possible solution?
I feel like the controller would be a lot easier to use if I could increase the look sensitivity and remap a bunch of the buttons, but I wasn't able to find an option for that in the menu.
