I wasn't spending too much time looking for something ideal or comfortable because, as soon as I got used to that, I'd get a new skill and have to rearrange everything again. >_>

I've never ever played with my right hand using a mouse, I've always played with mouse on the left and arrow keys and numpad as my hotkeys, I think it would be really really difficult for me to change to WASD and a right handed mouse unfortunately after like 15+ years of gaming.
I get that. I used to do it your way but then I realized it was REALLY hurting my RTS game play ability. The way games map keys totally requires a mouse on the right side and your hand on the left side of the keyboard. So I started making the transition. I'm all good for regular mice, but this Naga business will require a much longer transition. It's just that I seriously doubt there'll be anything resembling the Naga for left handed users, and this game really requires a way to use abilities without taking your fingers of WASD.
Good luck though! Hopefully you find something that works out real well for you. Us left handers are definitely screwed when it comes to gaming.
I found a website selling the Razer Naga and the Special edition - Molten version for what seems to be a really good price. Is their any difference between the two besides the shell graphic?

never heard of this website, but the price is good enough to give them a chance I guess.
I don't think there's a difference. Just the Hex and Epic are different.
I found the mouse/keyboard combo to fit better for ranged classes like Sorcerer since it's essentially like playing a FPS. I tried to use a controller for it but aiming is just so much easier with a mouse than with an analog stick for me. My old mouse was dying out on me and failing to track properly so I ended up getting a Naga to replace it. Perfect timing I'd say!
Playing melee classes with controller works well too. Played Slayer in CBT1 with it and it just felt natural though, I'm guessing it's gonna get hectic later on when more skills keep piling up.
Does anyone have a reference or a link for information on handy ini tweaks to improve graphics and fps?
I saw this on the official forums yesterday.

So I feel like I've finally narrowed down the class I want to play for retail and I think it's going to be Berserker. I enjoyed Lancer quite a bit in KTera but I didn't really enjoy their offensive abilities, tanking was amazing though. Berserker has the heavy armor plus block and it's really quite a bit of fun. How does it shape up as a dps endgame though? Other thoughts are Slayer and Archer, but I feel pretty good about Berserker. Just basically want to make sure it isn't total garbage at the high level.
How do you force AA with ATI cards? I've heard it's all in the catalyst control center, but I'm pretty clueless with that program.
Imo, Slayer is fun at 16.
But at 24, we get the HUZZZZZZZZZZZZZAH jump. It makes a difference.
Return to our ranks of Lancer! Leave no Elin behind! Except Setata, he makes good bait for GvG. Sorry Seta!
You can activate it in Catalyst through Gaming -> 3D Applications Settings tab.
You'll find it on the first option called SMOOTHVISION HD: Anti-aliasing. Uncheck "Use application settings" and select your type of AA.
A word of warning however: the game already has one type of AA implemented. It's weirdly hidden in the video options, but you'll find it in a slider called "Light enrichment". The tooltip explains what each slider step does. Step 1 activates some light effects and step 2 actualy activates a form of AA. If you are trying to setup your own custom AA, you should probably set this slider on 1 to remove the game's AA.
Anti aliasing is somewhat of a mythic beast among gamers, for some reason. There's many techniques for it and some have better results than others. Most of the "injected AA" modes you can find tend to end up being post processing effects, which somewhat blur the result of the image. From my observation, TERA's AA is of this kind and it's post processing the image unlike Multisample AA (MSAA), which takes into account other factors but it's simply not compatible with many graphical techniques (thus why UE3 doesn't support it, at least not last time I checked).
I'm unsure of the exact technique used by Catalyst for AA, but it's probably a post processing effect like many others.
If you want to check alternatives for AA, here's two tools you can google. Both will grab your game's visual output and send it for a GPU based post processing.
FXAA Injector: Apart from AA it allows you to add other effects like sharpening, sepia, gamma, etc.
Inject SMAA: Not to confuse with MSAA, the SM stands for "subpixel morphological". Another post processing AA.
If you ask me... both give bad results. But there's a lot of placebo effect when it comes to AA, so your mileage may vary.
Also, damn wall of text.
About the Razer Naga - the driver/software bundle is horrible. In order to use any of the advanced features of the mouse, you have to install this huge bloat of crap (including .NET 4.0) and be signed in to their "service" all the time. If you sign out or lose internet connection, it stops working. The fine print basically says they can upload any information off your system that they want to.
No thanks.
Uninstalled all of it and was surprised to see that I can still use all 12 buttons with no problem. I guess I can't use macros or customize the buttons other than the default 1-12 keys, but that's an acceptable tradeoff to their intrusive software.
I just got this thing last night, so if there is something I am missing please let me know, but it seems a little overboard just for a mouse.
