The default autorun key should be num lock. Autorunning can glitch, though, when you mess with the game's focus in some way. The game kept thinking I had keys pressed down if I alt+tabbed out while running and stuff like that until I pressed them again.

Yea, I changed it to R, and figured it was just bad programming for it to not differentiate between CTRL-R and just R.

Overall, the UI just seems lacking compared to other MMOs I've played. I had a similar feeling with Aion, so maybe it's just a Korean preference thing.

Thanks, that proxy didn't work but a different one did. Seems if you just put in the whole address: tera-europe.com/de/home.html it'll work without a proxy.

Any Canadians here have any luck finding a supplier for the physical CE yet? Still nothing on their site, and none of the retailers I've looked/talked to knew wtf I was talking about. Even emailed En Masse's customer support and they had no clue either.

Getting annoyed that I'm missing out on the beta just because their marketing team is being incompetent.

Tried GameStop? I called my old store and I know they were taking pre-orders, no clue if GameStop/EB Games Canada has a sku for the physical CE. Amazon will probably ship it from the states if Amazon.ca doesn't have it.

GameStop/EB Games doesn't have an SKU for it, and neither does both Amazon.ca and .com. All four just have the normal version with a pre-order bonus from that retailer.

The whole claiming/credit system needs to be tweaked I think. For example, I claimed Nakash for the quest that required to kill him. Within a few seconds of claiming him, solo, I had at roughly 96% and got an invite from an Archer who also wanted credit for the quest. No big deal. I take the invite, and we get it down to about 70% before the archer dies because he's too stupid to stay out of Nakash's AoE path when he runs off or does a triple leap forward.

Archer promptly resurrects in a town, and drops party without saying anything; I guess his death was somehow my fault. No sooner had he left, a Mystic who had been watching invited me, and again I figured why the hell not, and took the invite. However, like the Archer, the Mystic was a dumb fuck and constantly walked into melee range to put me within range of her Thrall of Life. Why? No fucking idea. Anyway, she dies to his AoE slam, however she doesn't leave like the Archer, and instead just lays there dead while I solo it down from about 65%. I kill it, and lo and behold, I get a whopping 1400exp and no credit for the quest, despite doing roughly 80% of its life in damage by myself, and having initial action against Nakash. My question: why?

Had something like that happen on Radas during CBT1. Saw a warrior start fighting him, they only got him to 98% when I invited them, then assisted them in killing him, yet I didnt receive any credit at all for my quest. We had to kill him a second time for me.

This may help, if you were on a Story Quest, to kill a BAM mob type: Repeatable quests give you the option to pick 3 bombs as a reward, instead of medals and/or eggs. Using them, on those Story Bosses, will severely weaken them so that they deal far less damage and take far more damage. This lets you solo them and kill them quickly without other people bugging to invite you to share quest credit; no loot drops when you do this.

If it was just a normal mob quest, you'd be out of luck though, and I don't believe it works on any Story quest mobs, in a real instance (has a map), though it should work in all of the instances that have a blank map.

Next time in game, i think the command is /? /emote or /help /emote. There are multiple emote commands for the same animations though.

The boss nerfer is called Kaia's binding. Medals can be turned in Velika for gear.

There's a vendor in the main city who sells armor/weapons for badges. The support badges seem to reward some green gear, usually on par with what you can get from the quests at that level or maybe a little under, nothing amazing.

I'm not sure if you can combine those badges with other ones to get better gear, or there are better badges later on or what. I did notice there were 3 other npcs in the same room who all had different titles "X Badge vendor" so i'm sure that's the case. Just must be higher levels or harder quests.

I still havnt done that mission quest, I threw out the Kaia bomb when my bags got full not realizing what it was.

There's a crap load of repeatables that give 3. Like....I can think of at least 5-7 off the top of my head.

There are higher level medals, yes. They're still bad though. At most, you use them to enchant gear. Over time, you will collect enough to use golds to get to your +6-12, depending on how much you like to grind.
