if they're increasing by 5 levels per CB (22>27>32) then we'll get a dungeon next CB(37), next dungeon after that is 42 (37>42) but who knows if they'll go above 37 cap for beta's, iirc JP OB was 38 cap

They do not increase by a specific amount of levels, rather, they increase by zones. By next CBT, we should be getting 38 just like KOBT, not 37, and be able to equip our level 38 golds from the level 35 dungeon and completely finish off the first continent.

That is like the first disappointing news to hear other than betas being every two weekends. At least it will give me an opportunity to level and tank with my warrior. I'm also really hoping they give us a third character slot.

Hello! So I'm an NA living in Japan. I pre-ordered the game, but found out afterwards that I wasn't able to download it because my IP is blocked. I got set up with the VPN client Astrill, and was successfully able to download and install the files (yay!); however, no I can't make it in past the log in screen. I enter my e-mail and password, and get a windows error pop up that says "TERA has stopped working" and the following error coding:

Anyone know if I can install the TERA files from another hard drive? I managed to free 30gb up to start the download, but I'm not able to get another 20 free'd up for the install process after it finishes. I got an external HD with a couple hundred gigs free though.

No idea what could be happening, but the first thing I'd try is to change my VPN. Perhaps your VPN is not allowing secure connections and the launcher needs them? Wild guessing.

You can. Done it with my files moving them to my laptop and I never had to download anything else there.

I finally got my new SSD installed. I'd like to get the game moved to the new drive. Are the download files located somewhere? Or do I just need to reinstall from scratch? Typically you can't just copy the program files directory.

If you want to be safe, install the downloader and start it. After that you can quit out and just copy files. This way the directory etc is set up properly

C:\Users\Public\Games for me. Just transfer the entire 23.6GB TERA folder there and you're good to go.

I was wondering if anyone knows where they said the cap on Open Beta was Level 38, just wanna make sure that's true considering the characters are being transferred into release. I'm fairly confident that's reachable in the open beta and want to plan accordingly if that is the case.

Did it easily in KTera, don't see why it would be any different. I understand there will be high traffic, but just need to make sure you're ahead of the pack. 1>25 maybe took 3/4 of a day. I mean I'm talking about committing the whole weekend to it, to make sure when head start happens you're already 38, and can easily make 50+ by end of that.

That would be pretty awesome to start early play at level 38.

The biggest difference that might slow you down in NA Tera is that we don't have the random dungeon queue yet. SM in KTera sped me through 26>30 in 3 hours.

Also if you get 38 in Open, you can stock up on repeatable, so you could potentially really get more then 38 if you're hardcore enough.

Is it faster to grind instances than to do the quests?

In KTera, I prefer instances. I'm not sure if it's any faster. With random queues I get instances quickly, and I just do quests around the instance while I'm waiting outside.
