I know you already solved the problem, but I just noticed this on their FAQ; seems they know about the error. http://tera-support.enmasse.com/app/...etail/a_id/267

So I just got to Velika (lvl 11, haven't killed Karascha), talked to that guy at the HQ, who directed me to the mount trainer. I got my mount, but then didn't get anymore quests--is that right? I ran around town and didn't notice any other quests, did I miss something?
Pretty sure you need to finish the main quest chain on the newbie island since the others build off the events there.
Sounds like a complaint. I'm going to be honest, Tera is so easy mode it's not even funny. The game's not meant to grind old content through your levels. Complete it, and move on. I can't think of any 32s I know that are grinding off of SM. Even though there's no dungeons this update, there's still plenty to do.
Look at it however you wish; for me, it's not a complaint, it's an observation. If your group of Lv32 friends don't want to go after gold gear, then that's their prerogative and all the more power to them, but others may want to. Lv27 Gold gear that is enchanted will beat the majority of green/blue gear that is available to us at a 32cap, and as such, some want to get the best of what is currently available.
it defeats the purpose of your ban when you just go and post on your girlfriends account, foxer : (((
there's also not that much to do really unless you're pvping on a pvp server, the gold drops from SM(enchanted) are still the best drops available to people, and there's still plenty of 32s spamming it for said drops, hence alot of the complaints
Isn't his ban over by now, or did someone put up another fiddy?
Did the NA version not have him along, in an earlier CB? Was always there in K-Tera.
He was always there in K-Tera as well
Yea, the "Party of 5" suggestion threw me off so I skipped it, thinking I could move on to Velika and come back later. I thought that might've been it, but it seemed silly that a quest would direct you to Velika before you're really ready to go there.
Ok so... this is really embarrassing, and I'm probably the only one that suffers from this... But, I physically can't PvP. Whenever I fight any other person, reguardless of their level, what they've done, or whatever, my hands start shaking and I can no longer control my character pretty much at all. I turn into a punching bag basically. I'm fine fighting normal monsters or doing anything like that, but when there's another person involved I cannot fight them. It's not that I don't want to, I want to really badly cause they're usually assholes, but I physically cannot fight back![]()
You aren't the only one that goes through this. I played a lot of player vs player games before, from FPS to RTS, but they were normaly games you entered to fight other people. When I started playing Aion over two years ago I had never played an MMO in a pvp enviroment and I admit I went through this kind of stuff. I would get overly excited and blocked.
My theory is that when playing an MMO you are used to being calm and care free and when you enter pvp your body reacts with the urge of being alert. Ironicly, it's self defeating.
Anyway, after playing a lot of Aion pvp I stoped having that feeling at all so eventualy you grow out of it. The only thing you can do is pvp more, that's pretty much it. Outlaw yourself and let people come to you, or provoke fights yourself; the more you register pvp as an everyday thing the less you react against it. It goes away eventualy.
Yah, I went through this for a little bit in WoW too (the short time I played), and I didn't remember how I fixed it or whatever... I just feel super embarrassed right now ^^;
Yeah, you just gotta pvp more. I remember when I did a BG in WoW for the very first time. If anyone walked in they probably would've thought I was having a seizure by how much my body was shaking. Was so nervous lol now I'm pretty calm with it
Thats the same feeling you get when you have to shoot at someone in RL. you just have to do it more often and your body becomes used to the reaction and can still function.
BTW, humanity is doomed![]()
I -still- have it and I've been playing PVP games(RF, Warhammer) for a while now. I get that adrenaline rush that makes me shake a bit when someone comes at me. I can still react and put up a fight, but it does make it a little harder to do my best. When initiating the fight it's not as bad, but when someone jumps me it's that quick "oh shi-" burst that gets me. It was worse in RF, my first PVP game, and has gotten better.
You might want to try playing a ranged class then, as its a bit easier for them to hit (even though you still have to aim). I know it can be EXTREMELY frustrating in this game trying to fight ranged classes as a melee (at least early on), as the slow running speed and massive delay between attacks (because everyone's carrying around a weapon as heavy as they are) can lead to a lot of kiting.
