I have no problem backburnering D3 or only playing it when others want to, especially as its only 4 player.

The only thing changed is Torchlight 2, which I probably wont pick up until a steam sale or whenever.

So how's Berzerker as an off-tank? I know it's primary dps, but I'm still unsure of how Warrior will flesh out as a tank and if people will look to zerkers as off-tanks or tanks for group quest BAM-hunting.

The problem with asking a zerk to be an off-tank (I assume) would more be the fact that they have 0 aggro abilities, not the fact that they can block. So keeping threat would be virtually impossible. Or am I mistaken?

Berserkers can block attacks, which negates damage. But as WhiteChocobo stated, they have no threat (enmity) abilities outside of standard damage. They'll tank in a pinch, if things go sideways, but they won't hold threat for long.

Warriors have abilities that generate threat (Torrent of Blows, Battle Cry, etc), and more that are evasive in nature (Death from Above, Evasive Roll, etc.). Add on a few debuff abilities (Combative Strike, Pounce, Traverse Cut, etc.) and two nice high damage abilities (Rain of Blows and Blade Draw). This makes Warrior a versatile tank.

^This. My buddies and I will get around to D3 eventually but will be too busy with Tera for quite some time. Maybe if my bro wants to play it i'll pick up sooner but most like a down the road purchase.

If the Zerker over-gears/levels the mob, tanking isn't much of a problem, if they know how to block and counter attack properly, so you can run your friends through lower level stuff without much problem.

So I know of the commonly known database with all the armor models and what have you..but are there any others with weapon models? The one with the armor models only has 1/2 a page of Slayer weapons and I want to see all the variations of swords I can get.

Not currently in korea and no new information since the announcement months ago. The newest korean patch is labeled as "Queen of Argon, part 1" but as far as official news go there's no information on what "part 2" will contain or even when it will come.

As for launch, all we know is we are getting content up to the lv60 cap, which was recently introduced with the mentioned patch. Wether it will be "part 1" or anything else is still undefined.
