I'm trying to make sure my game is patched and ready for Friday, but when I try to log in, I get this error:

Couple questions:
1) Did you play in CBT3?
2) Did you get a beta key from one of the many websites we have posted over the course of beta?

Reason I ask is, those codes are for 1 beta weekend and that might be why you get "insufficient privileges" when you sign in. If you pre-ordered the game through EME, try sending in a ticket stating your issue. It's possible when you bought the game from them that it didn't update your account properly.

Edit: Or I could have the exact same problem as you, meaning EME screwed something up :D HAPPY DAYS!

Edit2: http://tera.enmasse.com/ Think the client is still down for the patch they are installing. Started at 3pm PST today. Duration is about 2hrs.

Confirmed. There is a patch available. Its not big, so it should take less than a minute.

I was expecting something bigger. I guess there won't be large changes between CBT4 and 5.

Should be the same level cap from here on out, all the up until head start. Would make the most sense considering how low of a level you need to be to start PVPing.

Interesting. So CBT4 & 5, and OBT are all going to be Lv38 cap? Was that the flow of things during the Korean betas?

I think 38 is a good cap. Its more than half of the levels the full game has. And by 38 we can experience most of the abilities our character can learn, allowing us to get an ample feel of what its like to play that class. From what EME is saying, being that high also opens access to a lot of towns/cities to explore and experience.

This is feeling like the longest two months of my life.

No DRG for party, camp spot site with 30 dmg, but is it for 20 like 30 dmg when you no hit be it for dd, for 30 dmg instead? or half is 10 for 20 dmg?

This isn't Playonline. The official client is most likely the fastest download you can get. It's pretty much a torrent(uses p2p). If you're having issues, go into settings and lower your upload speed and see if that helps.

You can also turn off p2p, seems to help a lot of people get faster and more consistent download speeds

No, only OBT was 38 in Korea, but remember that Korean CBTs were stress tests, so they put you at a certain level in a certain zone, ETC.

ALSO! Remember that Korea launched without PVP and a 50 cap, so basically, OBT ended with nearly 80% of the leveling already done for you in terms of level! So it's possible to break the original level 38 OBT cap for NA!

BUT! Remember that PVP starts at 11 for us, as opposed to 38 for Korea, so there really isn't much of a reason to fully exploit and ruin the entire 2nd continent (38-47) for us with anything over level 38!

Game.co.uk should've sent you a key code by now. If it hasn't, contact them, ask for a refund, whatever. I bought mine from DLGamer.com and got the code within 5 minutes of purchase.

Once you have the code, you create an account at frogster's tera website (not the forums, the actual website!), you paste the keycode and your tera account will be bound to your frogster account.

At this point you have beta access, pre character creation access (after OBT) and headstart (after character reservation).

BUT! Remember that PVP starts at 11 for us, as opposed to 38 for Korea, so there really isn't much of a reason to fully exploit and ruin the entire 2nd continent (38-47) for us with anything over level 38!

I actualy hope we don't get past 38. I'm a bit tired of the closed beta marathons and although obviously no one forces me to play, I'd still feel compeled to do so to check out the new stuff. So, I'd rather have an artificial wall blocking me from doing it till it's actualy live and we get to keep our stuff
