This game is meant to be played with a mouse. I never used a mouse for any other MMO because it felt weird, but in TERA it feels so right and it's essentially needed because of how the game functions. Might as well get used to it now.

is there a way to turn off healing prompts and others related? Like for the spell that has you multi target ppl, its annoying to have that prompt come up every single time and I can't seem to find a way to turn it off

Can someone tell me what folder the CookedPC folder is in? I have that folder saved from an old pc but don't know where to put it before patching, all I have is Public\Games\TERA.

How do you unlock the Phantom Menance quest? It's grey to me but i've done all story quests up to it and i'm 34.

edit: Does anyone else crash when using a teleporter? I think I went 2/5 tonight...

I also crash proting to the camp outside of the cathedral like 3 times.

I've had no crashing problems at all. I've had framerate drops, and a few stalls, but not a single crash since I pre-ordered.

It's /controller to get to those settings.

using a gamepad, but thinking of biting the bullet and going to mouse. i have this weird glitch where the game begins to autorun forward, and will not respond to any steering or ability buttons. it only stops when i hammer the button to block (lancer). this has gotten me killed multiple times, usually in fun places like SM (to the utter disgust of my group). any ideas on wtf?

Recalibrate, or try being careful to not touch the stick when booting up. If its old and beat, doesn't help.

@ mallister: happens to me too (I also play lancer) sometimes I can get it to go back to normal, but other times I have to log to char select. Annyoing, but I havent heard of a "fix" yet

@senji: it's a new gamepad. it happens at random when i'm playing; not like it's stuck on autorun when i launch the game.

@rulke cool cool glad it's not just me...

thanks guys i'll post if i find a cause/fix.

try hitting the direction in which you are auto-running. that will sometimes fix it instantly. if not i just do circles until it goes away lol.
