hmm, I'll check it out again during cbt5. Wouldn't be the first time I derped on something obvious though.

after i bought it, i started downloading/updating the game but it's taking forever... only at 41% after 3 days. is this normal?

It is, for some, and isn't, for others. I had 750 kbs download speed, so it was done in about 7.5 hours; try turning off P2P and see if that helps.

I downloaded the whole EU client for the hell of it this morning and then went to work. I was getting over 5 MB/s without messing with any of the settings. Faster than downloading from EME.

I think it's at the bottom of the page when you open up the Guild menu.

For anyone working with umodel as a model viewer, is it possible to display the animations? I've noticed they're in separate packs so I'm not sure how to put the animations on the models.

As far as I know, uModel can list all the motions for each race, but doesn't have the ability to display what they look like.

When listing an item on the brokerage, I don't see an option to click to allow or not allow an item's price be negotiable; is that on by default or what?

Yup. As long as you're on. You can filter bargains though.

I think it's set up so that everything on the broker is negotiable, as long as the seller is online. If the seller isn't online, then the negotiate option is greyed out on the broker. At least... that's my understanding of it.

Ah, okay; that makes sense then. I was wondering why some people had "Make Offer" grayed out while others didn't when I couldn't find an option about negotiations in the on the listing tab. Thanks.

What's the best team setup for PvE Stuff?
Is the combo mystic/priest worth it or overkill?

One of the K-Players will have to answer for anything past 38, but Priest + Mystic sounds like absolute overkill and would make terribly boring leveling, from my experience.
I suposse at least you'll be unkillable in 2v2 fights though, if that's any important for you, but since you are going for a PvE server this would be limited to guild wars and deathmatches.

For PvE, I suposse it depends if you are looking for lowmaning stuff. I've been able to succesfuly low man most things without healers or tanks, but I think a combination of Mystic + melee DD would give the best results. My reasoning is that motes can be preemptively laid out on the field, which then become hateless heals (they do generate high hate if used while fighting though, but it's nothing like a target heal), and mystic can pretty much hold any big monster as long as there's space to run (teleport!), which is harder for priest. This said, I see no problem with a priest either.

Warrior + healer would likely be the combination with the highest safest/effectiveness ratio, due to the nature of DD/Tank hybrid of warrior.

As for groups... someone that has bothered more with groups will have to answer you, but mystic+priest sounds like a bad idea to me for 5 man groups as well.

If this was posted somewhere else, I apologize. Have the open beta/release servers been listed anywhere? What server is BG going to for OB/release?

EME said something along the lines of server names should be available prior to ECC. So I'd expect them probably early next week (More than likely Monday after the patch for the remainder of content has been released for d/l).
