Combat is king in an action game like TERA, so we've added abilities that let you protect yourself with living stone, evade attacks while charging forward, aim your sword for the enemy's jugular, and heal your party on the move.

Based on player feedback, we changed the warrior class the most. Warriors now have skills that gradually build an "edge" of power, and then release that power with a devastating attack. The edge gives warriors a unique flow in combat, because they grow more dangerous with each passing second.

But everyone has new toys to play with. Check it out:

Wuts dis? I know the lvl cap to 60 gets us a new skill but are these extra ones on top of that? or did they just rename them?

Those look like the Lv60 skills in KTera I think. I could be wrong, but I see archer's traps being re-listed. I'm pretty sure the KTera Lv60 skill lets archer shoot their traps instead of laying them. Mystic totems were a part of the Lv60 increase.

Ahh ok that makes more sense, was strange that they would rename them. I know that Slayer got Throat Slash and warriors got some sort of AoE.

These are all just the korean lv60 patch skills and the warrior additions with the carving system.

We'll have to get used to EME talking in first person about TERA; after all, they are technicaly BHS.

On a side note: I'll be playing an Amani female priest. These dragon girls need some love.

Female Amai braid their hair in a way that mimetizes with their scales, acting as protusions of their body, in an attempt to further confuse and impress their oponents.

Those things that hang from her head are not really a part of her body but instead, just like the feathers of a peacock, pure adornment.

About SW: Not wishing to enter a debate on tastes, as I respect whatever anyone may like, but it's my opinion that Lucas made all the SWs lore on the go and because of that it's full of plot holes and... well... really stupid stuff. My breaking point was the midichlorians, where a pseudo-spiritual concept like the force and Jedis were knocked down to the level of Dragon Ball Z power meters.

I should've specified in that TERA dragons do not have hair, like the one I linked above and the Aman M which is a proper dragon. Re star wars, I don't take it seriously enough for the errors to bother me. Like I said, space opera.

Okey, as release date is nearing:

Where is the best place to purchase a US (en-masse) copy of TERA? I'm in the UK. I am thinking amazon but a digital download this time around seems better, I don't trust my postal system.

I'm not too concerned with starting "later" than people, as I have no desire to "race" to top level. Although I guess in retrospect this might get me screwed over continously as we're on a PvP server. Oh well, deal with it and toughen up I guess.

Is there any news of "referral" schemes coming? Basically if you refer a friend, get extra bonuses for you and friend. I might wait a month before I actually buy it as I'm busy in May with some work projects, so if any schemes come up I'll probably ask for a referral later from someone on the BG server and guild.

Skimmed the thread a bit, I guess ping isn't too big of a deal anymore?
