Trying to put up some greens on AH, so was looking for average price of them with Ctrl + L Click but pretty much whatever I look for ends up with no results.

ctrl + L is a shortcut? I always use the search item tab. try searching under everything, and maybe type in only the first 4 letters or so of what you are looking for.

I recall that searching, in the All section, didn't work, but going into the specific gear location did. I.E, searching for crystals would only work when I was on the Crystal section and not the very top selection, which should be all.

activate what? I can only see the preorder items in game. I switch from amazon to En Masse's digital collector's edition. Do collector's items only activate at the official launch?
