I have a quest titled [Training Grounds] "Test Your Temerity" that I received when I hit 60. Apparently, that's supposed to be the start of the quest that enables you to do stuff like glyph mastery to reduce glyph costs etc. Unfortunately, the NPC for its turn in doesn't seem to be in the game yet, as the quest references the Temple of Temerity.
Oh, hmm. Hope we get it soon... Some of these rare glyphs are Jesus tier.
Wanting to roll a Mage type class but I'm kind of stuck between Priest and Mystic. I hardly see any Mystics around in the groups I join so I'm kind of leaning towards that.
Are Mystics desirable enough to dedicate the time to get one up and running?
^ Short answer: yes.
How are Slayers in parties? Got the game and made an Aman Slayer and it's pretty fun, but curious how it's meant to be played. Unless I find that out @20 in the first instance?
Once you hit 20 grab the overhand strike reset glyph. It changes slayer and that's how it's meant to be played. Slayer in parties/dungeons works like this:
Hit any one of your skills > overhand strike > another skill > overhand strike etc.
Slayer isn't like Zerker or Sorcerer, which is high spike damage. Slayer is constant dps that's lower in terms of spike but overall it is reliable. Slayer also has incredibly high knockdown and slaps mobs around which is really helpful.
So it's like a rouge/theif but with a giant ass sword? I can work with that, thanks.
When they say that slayer knocks a mob on its ass, they mean it. A good slayer makes certain boss fights hilarious, not simply in that the boss never gets to attack due to being on its face, but also in the sense that, well, its constantly ass-up and on its face.
Kinda. I basically sit behind dungeon mobs and just constantly go to work on them. The only other job that attacks with the same speed really is Warrior. And yes as Lucavi said I often will knock down a mob once and then re-knock it down with my second skill chain. I've knocked boss mobs around the dungeon in succession before which has essentially kept it from doing anything but being zerged.
I'm a Lancer, and I find it hella annoying when bosses keeps getting knocked over and never going to where I want them to! >.>
I'm a slayer, and I find it hella annoying when mobs fly away from me while I'm mid animation and my skill misses cause a lancer leashed them! >.>
Is there no possible way to craft/mass produce archrunes? If not, what mobs drop Archrunes of Arun and Archrunes of Titans more specifically. Those are the two runes I am on the hunt for as of right now and am in great need of in copious amounts. x_x;;
Anyone know how spellbind works exactly yet? I see you need xhowever many tier your item is, but I'm wondering: How long does it seal it for? Forever? Only the next reset?
IS there any quest to enter the instances? i am 18 atm so close to first instance
You can enter most any instance regardless of your quest status as long as you meet the appropriate level requirement, but there are often quests that take you to said instances and can net you a lot of exp for doing things inside them.
As far as Bastion of Lok (the lv20 instance) is concerned, there are no story quests that concern it but there is a yellow quest line that you can follow to go through the instance.
