So what are peoples opinions on upgrading gear. Sometimes I notice the tooltip says that a weapon has +400-600 on my attack modifier compared to my enchanted weapon. But there are +dmg bonuses on enchanted weapon. What's a good measure to know when to upgrade.

Also does the compare tool take into account the enchanted + to attack modifier and impact or does it just go off the base?

Oh, the blue ones? They come from dungeon bosses and stuff at higher levels. You'll get like 2-3 of them per final boss at 58-60.

Where would one level at 49? I kind of got screwed out of the NT since I finally got them (right when I entered the zone, my "static" threw me into NT without any of the quests) so I'm stuck out of the main story line quest and have no idea where to go.

The latter quest line opens up the NT quests. Which would open up the later questioned from 48-50

Can someone tell me why I cant complete Unveil the mask even though I kill Thulsa? Am I doing something wrong? I'm the first one to hit the mob. (Its the one where you kill the big crab inside Allemantheia with Fraya)

You have to do 51% of the damage to the mob for it to count. At least, that would be my guess as to why.

So where does the general amount of T13 armor and weapons come from? I know you can buy some from Reputatation NPCs pending you have the required level of reputation and tokens, but is there anywhere else (like, say, a normal mob) that drops that stuff?

At the moment, the last boss of Fane and Baldur's HM drops t13.

Had the same problem a week ago and put in a ticket. Here's the basic response:

You have to get the first hit and do 51% of the damage as a basic rule. (So if you were like me and it took a few seconds to figure out what was going on, you've already lost as the NPC's start to damage quickly).

The catch is that the quest is bugged. So that it wouldn't reset the instance and let me try again. Anyway, the solution was to group up with someone and do the instance again. For me it was someone also standing outside with a bugged quest. Once we grouped, everything reset, we cleared the instance, and progressed the quest.

There is also an official answer/post floating around somewhere from EME as well. Can probably find it on their forums.

Go to your profile page > instances > reset

The quest really isn't bugged, just not explained properly.

The quests will bug with the prompt for reset if your party starts before you enter though.

Speaking of which, are tier 13s the only thing that can be luxed now? Korean version was full of luxed items that now say "Cannot make into masterwork." in NA version. Or do they just say that because they didn't get turned lux when they were unsealed? I feel like I would have seen a pink glow or a plus 10-12 global message by now.
