So for any warriors leveling, do you use stances while grinding? it seems like if I use the -endurance stance after 2-3 pulls i'm sitting at 20% hp from just getting smashed in the face by mobs with adds.

Not sure if my opinion counts as my warrior is my second character and only 35, but I use the assault stance both to boost damage and to give me a method of practicing avoidance techniques. Sort of like being thrown into the pool to learn how to swim, I suppose. I found a good way to offset issues with things hitting too hard is to either switch to the endurance stance, or to take a few minutes to get maxed gathering buffs to maintain hp/mp. The latter tends to keep the pace moving, but I let it slip when I want to add a little variety/spice to the experience lol.
Absolutely. WAR seems to be about finesse when soloing. The goal isn't to walk in and 1shot mobs but rather take time and beat it's ass as you walk in a circle using precisely timed skills. Some things that can make it easier are saving the combative thrust move that drops hp for BAMs and bosses, glyph hp regen on rain of blows glyph minus CD on assault from above (between that and evasive roll normal mobs should almost never hit you), stack hp regen crystals on your weapon (can buy them at the specialty vendor). Assault from above dodges lock on moves. That's about all I got for War survival.
I rarely have downtime when soloing only certain mobs give me pause. The knights type mobs around CR for example have minions hit hard and swing in a wide arc. Thats when I run in and dump my mp and go for the 1shot kill. Bandage up good to go.
Fucking love war! lol
Edit: Not sure what level you are but mangle really helps when soloing also something I always have up.
I always use defense boost stance. Glyph combative strike and just constantly use it, the hp loss is negligable. If you take too much damage use avoidance tactics. On mobs with minions I normally zerg the main one, combative strike > traverse > blade draw, pounce > rain of blows with hp glyph. The only mobs I really had downtime were the things with the minions around cr near the first camp in dark cathedral. Just bandaged up though np. War is tons o fun.
Yeah, the mobs I was having an issue with were the knight mobs with the adds. I guess they just seem to be stronger then other groups from what you guys are mentioning.
Are there in-game GMs?
You know, cool looking ones with unattainable armor which would wow everyone. I wonder if they have such a thing or would make an appearance.
From the patch notes:
Does that mean that the vanarchs can enable PVP in towns and disable safe zones?Elected vanarchs on PvP servers will be able to flag PvP on and off once they arrive on Shara.
There are GMs. I have a picture of one... if I can just find that folder. :D
They actually look pretty shitty compared to other games.
Since EME hasn't really defined what we'll be able to do, nor any of the quest system, to get vanarch points to buy perks, like the AH, Vendors, and such, nobody knows, but in KTERA, you can turn PvP off, in your area.
Is it possible to transfer soul bound items between characters on an account?
Blah what have they done to blocking/mana?
I was doing SM, this joker like boss drains all my mana with his 3-4 hit combo and I get knocked off my feet!
Otherwise, tanking trash was somewhat fine but I still lose mana rapidly!![]()
I'm assuming you mean the Duke, in which case yes; his attacks just really drain your MP for whatever reason.
Hi.
Is there a way to do something similar to the FF11 /sea all option? Or to even search a particular zone for people?
No, there is currently no search function in game for zones/players.
I think it was the Duke then, but yeah looks like you're all relating the same experience as me.
Lucky then, I did apologise for sucking after the boss, haha. The guys didn't seem to mind though. So far it's pretty good experience in the instance finder, no one has ever raged at me. The only negative comment was "oh a 26..." (my level) when the party was 28-29.
Also, the trash before the last boss, in SM, something one shot me at 3000 lol. I wasn't sure what but I insta-dropped. It's funny how efficient the party can still be without a tank haha. Due to the large room they just kited them until they died.
